Klaus-Jürgen Wrede entführt die Spieler mit Carcassonne Jäger und Sammler in die graue Vorzeit. Dort, wo später einmal die berühmten Burgmauern von Carcassonne stehen werden, leben nun Mammuts und Säbelzahntiger, fristen Jäger und Sammler ein gar karges Leben… Die Spieler werden zu Jägern, Sammlern und Fischern der Carcassonne-Frühzeit und bekommen Punkte für Fische in Flüssen, für Wild auf Wiesenlichtungen, für dunkle Wälder, in denen leuchtende Bodenschätze verborgen sind und sie bekommen Punkte für kleine Holzhütten, die sie taktisch geschickt in der von ihnen gestalteten prähistorischen Welt von Carcassonne platzieren.Achtung! Für Kinder unter 3 Jahren nicht geeignet. Erstickungsgefahr, da kleine Teile verschluckt oder eingeatmet werden können.
