Der kleine und handliche LABOR S wurde, wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, besonders für das Labor entwickelt, um diffizile und feine Heißluftanwendungen, wie zum Beispiel Löten, Schrumpfen, Kunststoffschweißen und sogar Restaurieren von Kunstwerken und antiken Gegenständen zu ermöglichen. Zudem eignet sich das Heißluftgerät LABOR S ist für alle schwer zugänglichen Kunststoffschweißarbeiten und ist dank unzähliger Düsen und Schweißaufsätze vielseitig einzusetzen. Weil er von einem externen Leister-Gebläse versorgt wird, ist er mit nur 180 g besonders leicht, was ermüdungsfreies Arbeiten möglich macht.
Der LABOR S ist im Set mit dem MINOR erhältlich oder kann mit den bewährten Leister-Luftquellen AIRSTREAM oder ROBUST kombiniert werden. Zudem kann der LABOR S auch mit Druckluft betrieben werden.
