Premium Collectibles Studio are proud to present the Davy Jones Deluxe Edition 1:3 Scale Statue, the first in a new series of collectibles based on the characters of the Pirates of the Caribbean films.
Standing nearly 30” tall, this seafaring swashbuckler is packed with incredible details. What remains of his clothing is tattered, salt stained and covered in barnacles. Deep green strands of seaweed hang from his hat and trousers; his right trouser leg giving way completely below the knee exposing the crab leg that’s taken the place of his right foot. Similarly, the left sleeve of his jacket has eroded away revealing a massive crab claw, Jones’ own take on a pirate’s hook.
Davy Jones’ fantastic appearance is anchored by his incredibly detailed portrait. A massive beard of octopus arms hangs across his chest, with a cephalopod's mantle peeking out from beneath the rear of his hat. Despite these exaggerated features, the intensely human look in his eyes allows a small peek into the personality that’s made him such an enduring fan favorite. The Deluxe Edition includes a second portrait where Davy Jones has traded his pipe for the key to the Dead Man’s Chest. This edition also includes a small branded display stand with a replica of the sought after key.
The base features rotted wood, dripping sea sludge and algae making the entire piece appear as if it were just plumbed from the depths of the Caribbean Sea.
