Connect via HDMI and SDI inputs to upgrade your consumer camera, broadcast camera, or DSLR camera. Supports all HD, Ultra HD, 2K, and 4K DCI formats. Two mini XLR audio inputs are added to the 7” 12G HDR model for connecting and recording directly from your mics.

Feel more comfortable during shoots since the touchscreen is closer to eye level and provides more detail by being larger than small camera display screens. You also get professional focus assist features, higher quality file formats, and support for editing software.

Large touchscreen makes it easy to frame shots and accurately focus. Touchscreen includes dedicated buttons for play, stop, record, and a mini timeline to scroll through. Critical information such as timecode, transport control, audio meters and a histogram for exposure are displayed on the touchscreen while shooting. Use the touchscreen to add or remove overlays, enable scopes, load and save 3D LUTs. Display on the 12G HDR models are brighter than the 3G models, excellent for HDR digital film and outdoor shoots.

Scopes are built in to ensure compliance with broadcast standards. Waveform display provides brightness level view for video inputs or playback signal. Vectorscope shows color intensity at 100% SDI reference levels. RGB parade display is ideal for color correction. Histogram indicates white to black distribution and calls attention to clipping. Overlay the scope on live video, or at the top of the scope with as a small picture in picture view.

Preview the look images will have when editing with 3D LUTs. Load custom 17 or 33 point 3D LUT files, or work with built-in LUTs such as Extended Video, Film to Video, and more.

Recordings are made in standard open file formats, so you don’t have to spend time transcoding media. Files are compatible with post production software. Record to your choice of USB-C flash disks or SD cards from the two SD card slots. Webcam support on the USB connection powers live streaming by plugging into a computer.
