The song appeared on the influential NME C86 compilation and was performed on Channel 4's The Tube.
Their only full-length album, A Fierce Pancake (1988), was recorded in Berlin and London and produced by Holger Hiller with assistance from Stephen Street. Despite critical acclaim, the album did not achieve mainstream success, and the band split later that year.
