Ready Or Not is a glimpse into what could have been the next Grateful Dead studio album, captured live in its raw, powerful beauty across two LPs.

Released in 2019, this collection features nine unreleased performances recorded between 1992 and 1995, showcasing the band’s final lineup with Jerry Garcia, Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Mickey Hart, Bill Kreutzmann, and keyboardist Vince Welnick. Tracks like “Liberty” beam with that classic Dead optimism, while “So Many Roads” hits deep with Garcia’s tender, world-weary vocals. “Days Between” is a haunting ballad that feels like a farewell, shimmering with quiet intensity.

Each song is mastered from the original digital soundboard tapes, bringing pristine clarity to these late-era gems. The recordings remind fans that even in their final years, the Dead remained endlessly exploratory, weaving jazz, folk, and cosmic psychedelia into their live shows with effortless magic.

Pressed on double vinyl for expansive sound, Ready Or Not is essential for collectors who want to hear the Dead's last creative sparks before Garcia’s passing in 1995. It’s raw, real, and radiates the bittersweet beauty of a band that always lived in the moment.

Spin this if you’re ready to feel the echoes of what might have been – and appreciate every note that was.

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
