Although the Moon seen from the Earth appears a very bright white, its surface is actually dark. The structure of the lamp which is irregular and cracked at the same time is filled with numerous craters and holes. When the light is turned on, the dormant Lunar comes to life and light is spilling out of it. The light that spills out through the holes creates a diverse mosaic of shadow in the whole room. Paper pulp lamp Luna takes part of a collection of lamps connected by the common name “Copernicus”.

Material:

Luna lamp is very lightweight and durable. It is handcrafted entirely from pulped newspapers and from ecologic, water based glue. In conclusion all these components, as well as the process of lamp formation, are environmentally friendly and ecological. 

Textile cable colour and LED bulbs:

This paper mache light shade is available with Cotton White cable (1 m). Moreover you should use only LED bulbs up to 20W hence the bulb is not included. This lamp requires a bulb with an E27 ending.

It is really exactly what I was looking for. I've been living with my jewelry in ziplock bags since we moved over here and everything fits perfect. I saw some reviews that claimed it was unstable but I tested it and it seems sturdy though I'm not hanging heavy pieces. It is a nice size and I love the little ring basket. It also feels pretty decent quality too. Glad I got the black one as I'm not sure where I have it that the copper/bronze would look right. Even my boyfriend keeps commenting how much he likes it. It's a usable piece of art! I will comment that the earring holes can be a little tricky since the leaves are turned all different ways. You have to be strategic with how you line up your long/dangle-y earrings with your studs so everybody fits and can be seen. A little tricky. But not a deal breaker - especially when it's so easy on the eye. The other slight negative is that this really isn't the best necklace holder. I would have thought, "No problem!" But it's a bit awkward. Especially if you actually intend to see all your earrings. You'll end up hanging most of your necklaces from the top most branch - but they slide down into the crevice to stay. Then you've got a lot of overlapping. And trickiness to retrieve the exact necklace you want with ease. However, this is still a fabulous earring tree. I can't say enough good things about it. Love the little basket for miscellaneous. Hair bands, lip gloss, etc.

I wasn't sure about purchasing the jewelry stand at first (I had my doubts), but those doubts quickly disappeared upon the arrival/unpackaging of the jewelry stand. I waited a month for the price to go down (I'm just a cheapskate) and it did. It went from $45 or so, down to $25 or so. So, unless its life or death, be patient and buy it when the price is right. OVERALL? In general, I was pleased with the product. It wasn't my dream jewelry stand, but it was worth my money and the wait.
