Few who knelt were spared, but the Eye of Ra fell upon a chosen fewÑ and it was these captives that Sekhmet corralled into servitude, to heap the foundation slabs of her numberless cenotaphs.

Ages passed, and the kingdoms Sekhmet brought to heel were swallowed by scarlet sand. The occult seals have broken on the tombs of her servants who were buried alive, freeing them at long last into pestilent darkness.

GAUNTLET SUMMARY

Plague Jewels of Sekhmet is a one-session tournament gauntlet for 0-level characters.

The players take on the role of servants buried alive long ago in a cenotaph they were forced to build for Sekhmet, goddess of war, plague, and healing. The preservation magic on their sarcophagi having faded, the characters emerge into the lightless ruins of the structure they erected.

With their memories blank and throats burning with plague, the characters must navigate the haunted cenotaph, find a remedy for their rotting disease, and escape into the sunlight.
