An exploration of the role that dreaming, psychedelic experiences, and mystical visions play in visionary art• Includes discussions with 18 well-known female artists, including Josephine Wall, Allyson Grey, Amanda Sage, Martina Hoffmann, Penny Slinger, and Carolyn Mary Kleefeld
• Reveals how they have all been inspired by deep inner experiences and seek to express non-ordinary visions of reality, reminiscent of shamanic trance states, lucid dreams, and spiritually transcendent experiences
• Shows how visionary art often contains an abundance of feminine energy, helping us to heal ourselves and see that we are all connected
Since early humans first painted from their mystic eye onto cave walls, artists have sought to share their sacred visions with the world. Created in every medium, from oil painting and sculpture to contemporary digital modeling, these visionary works of art give those who experience them a chance to “see the unseen,” realize wider modes of perception, and discover spiritual and mystical realms.
In this full-color illustrated book, David Jay Brown and Rebecca Ann Hill examine the work and inspirations of eighteen of today’s leading female visionary artists, including Josephine Wall, Allyson Grey, Amanda Sage, Martina Hoffmann, Penny Slinger, and Carolyn Mary Kleefeld. They explore the creative process and the role that dreaming, psychedelic experiences, sexuality, and divine guidance play in the work of these women, alongside full-color examples of their art. They discuss the future of visionary art and reveal how these artists have all been informed and inspired by deep inner experiences and seek to express non-ordinary visions of reality, often reminiscent of those encountered in shamanic trance, lucid dreams, psychedelic states, spiritually transcendent experiences, and other altered states.
Showing how visionary art often contains an abundance of feminine energy, helping us to heal ourselves and see that we are all connected, the authors explore with each artist what it is about being a woman that has most influenced their artwork. They also examine the connection between visionary art and spirituality, the influence of Nature and sacred geometry, and how this creative form is simultaneously ancient, futuristic, and timeless, providing an accessible doorway into the visionary realm.

sizing runs a bit big but very comfortable, i love these and ordered multiple colors
Size: X-Small, Color: Black
Initially, i ordered a small and an X small based on reviews here. Glad i did. I opened the x-small first and it fit perfectly. Returned the other one unopened. Sleeves fit my arms well. Collar stands up well. Shirt has sufficient length to tuck in too. Not super long though if you want to untuck with jeans.
I'm 5'6 140#. I lift weights regularly and run. I'm right at 11.8-12.0% body fat. I typically wear a small in the amazon essentials slim fit t shirt. Those fit really well in size S. Check them out too if you have not yet. These polos XS fits equally well for my body type.

Great Shirt - Fits big and isn’t slim IMO
Size: X-Small, Color: Black, Size: X-Small, Color: Black
5’10, 155lbs, size X-Small. Soft material, very comfortable, light weight and breathable. Sizing is way off. This shirt is huge considering my size, shirt size, and slim fit.

Lightweight and soft
Size: Large, Color: Bright Blue
True to size and very comfortable. Lightweight and the color is just as the picture. They was well and don’t wrinkle easily. We dry them on low heat to avoid shrinkage and so far they have been just fine.

Great Slim-Fit Polo That Keeps You Cool on the Course
Size: Medium, Color: Dark Green, Size: Medium, Color: Dark Green
I picked up this Amazon Essentials Slim-Fit Golf Polo recently, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite golf shirts. The quick-dry fabric really works — even on hot, sunny days, I stay comfortable and dry without feeling sticky.
The slim fit is flattering without being too tight, and there’s enough stretch to move freely during my swing. It’s lightweight but still feels durable, and the collar keeps its shape after multiple wears and washes.
For the price, it’s hard to beat a polo that looks good, feels great, and performs well on the course. Definitely recommend if you want something simple and functional.
