Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition is an engine-building game in which players control interplanetary corporations with the goal of making Mars habitable (and profitable). You will do this by investing mega credits (MC) into project cards that will directly or indirectly contribute to the terraforming process. In order to win, you will want to accumulate a high terraform rating (TR) and as many victory points (VP) as you can. Players raise their TR by increasing global parameters: oceans, oxygen, and temperature. TR also determines each corporation's basic income, and, at the end of the game TR counts as VP. Additional VP and production capabilities are awarded for building project cards and other actions taken during the game. The game is played in rounds, and each round the players will choose one of five phases, which determines which activities will take place during that round. This means every round is different, but can consist of building new project cards, taking general and project-specific actions, producing income and resources (plants and heat), or researching to draw more project cards. Every player will take all the phases selected for the round, and will receive a special bonus during the phase that they selected. To speed up the game, players should resolve each phase simultaneously!
The game board has tracks for oxygen, temperature, and terraform rating, as well as a place for all of the ocean tiles that will be flipped over the course of the game. The game ends when there is enough oxygen to breath (14%), oceans enough to allow Earth-like weather (9), and the temperature is well above freezing (+8°C). It will then be possible, if not comfortable, to live on the surface of Mars!
The winner is the player with the most VP at the end of the game.

Does the job, easy use, a bit bulky not exactly as described
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
Bare wire can be intolerable to work with. Banana plugs make a positive secure connection. These plugs are a touch bulky. Nice to not have to deal with small screws. Use as large of gauge wire as possible. The description says no unintentional disconnections. I beg to differ the bite of teeth aren’t as good as described. Used a 16 gauge pure copper speaker wire and a teenager taught me how secure the wire really is by tugging on the wire not the banana plug pulling the wire free. It does the job, it’s not the latest and greatest. If you need easy get these. If you want slim secure banana plugs buy the small screw type.

GET THEM!!
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
Fully gold plated inside and out! I initially got the amazon basic connectors for the same price, but was disappointed in the tiny burgundy positive label they had. It was also very dirty inside the connector and it wasn’t gold plated through out the connector. These are excellent in quality and have a bright red ban on the connector! You wont be disappointed and beats out Sewell connectors for the price!

Decent, but be careful of frequent use.
Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs, Size: 12 Pairs / 24 pcs
The looks are very nice, functional if left alone once assembled. After that I would leave them alone otherwise you risk the main male portion just coming loose of the housing, sound quality is decent, nothing to write home about, but again, not very durable. If they could fix that 1 thing, these would be very good buy and value, the rest of each plug is hefty and well made.

Great Banana Plugs
Size: 6 Pairs / 12 pcs
I recently purchased these FosPower banana plugs to tidy up my speaker wiring, and they’ve been a significant improvement over bare wire ends. Installation is straightforward: strip the wire, loosen the two tiny set screws, slide the wire in, tighten everything down, and then screw the barrel back on. Once assembled, the connection feels secure and tight, making it much easier to swap gear around and reducing the risk of stray strands causing a short.
The standout feature of this design is the dual set-screw clamp. It firmly grips the speaker wire without relying on the outer collar to “crush” it in place. I’m using 12-gauge wire, and it holds well for my setup.
Initially, the plugs may fit snugly in some binding posts. Once seated, there’s no wobble, but it might take a bit of extra push the first time.
The set screws are small, so a bit of precision is needed. Use a small flathead screwdriver and don’t over-tighten them.
Overall, these plugs feel well-made, look clean once installed, and fulfill their purpose as banana plugs: making speaker connections quick, neat, and reliable.
