Welcome back to the vivid, resonant sound-world of The 23s. With 2008's Bolivia (KK 043 CD/LP), the mysterious one-man-band delivered on an intention to make another kind of music - something that isn't entertainment, something that isn't show, something that goes, gently, straight to your soul. Now the producer from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, has done it again with Flamingo. He delivers a special kind of cinematic journey that grooves in the opposite direction from his other, more rhythm-based, hypnotic dance productions. He does produce pattern-based music as The 23s, but it pursues a different intention; each listener should dive into a hallucinatory world of seen and unseen films projected by the inner eye. All ten tracks are romantic smooth-operators. They put themselves in service of an artistic vision in which the listener can get lost. The album can be seen as a love letter to the movie scores of 1970s French cinema or the impressionistic sound arrangements one hears in the early cinema of Peter Greenaway. With double-bass heat, discreet piano melodies, levitating guitar chords, some gentle horns here and there, and beats that recall the warm, jazz-influenced soul of old-school hip-hop, The 23s generate a sublime get-down-deep instrumental journey. You can listen to it attentively or play in the background, but it is recommended that you play Flamingo with a decent amount of volume, as all lounge tracks get bigger and brighter with sonic intensity, with an atmosphere that is alternately foggy and flooded with light. It's a 40-minute electronic journey that offers open-minded souls a chance to fill in the gaps between the notes with their very own milky fancy. The album is released in advance of a bunch of remixes by producers like Edward (Giegling, White), Christian S. of the Comeme tribe, Canadian producer The Mole, and German post-rock/electronic band To Rococo Rot. I absolutely love the Saltair line of products!

I used the body wash at a friend's house and fell in love, especially with the Santal Bloom scent! This body oil is just so amazing and feels so silky and soft. It's especially effective if you use it right out of the shower. It adds a beautiful glow and I even use a little in my hair. It's quite concentrated so a little goes a long way. I have even mixed it into my favorite coconut oil and it mixes beautifully. Don't sleep on this line!

Smells great
Scent: Golden Hour
Love this, my favorite scent from this line. Very subtle glitter so I still feel age appropriate. It’s an oil soy skin does feel oily for a little bit afterwards until it soaks in. It has lasted me quite awhile so I do feel it’s good value for the money. Have reordered a few times.

Great Glow and Scent, But Fades Quickly and Runs Out Fast
Scent: Vanilla
The Saltair Shimmering Body Oil in Salt Water Vanilla is a beautiful product.
The only 3 reasons I don’t give it 5 stars are because:
1. The shimmer is not very long-lasting. When I apply it before bed, most of the shimmer effect is completely gone and absorbed by my sheets by the morning. I assume pants and leggings would absorb it in the same way, but I’ve only ever worn shorts after applications during the day, and even then, the shimmer seems to fade after 4–6 hours.
2. I have to apply a lot of oil to achieve the amount of shimmer I desire. It averages about 20–25 pumps per use.
3. The 4-ounce bottle size, combined with needing a lot of product for each application, means I’m going to run out of it pretty quickly.
Here’s why I like this product:
1. The glow: If you’re looking for a subtle glow and a light shimmer effect, this oil is perfect for you; apply it before a night out, while wearing a swimsuit, or when going to the gym in your favorite workout set for a beautiful gleam.
2. The scent: It’s a divine, warm mix of sweet and spicy notes. It smells like vanilla, amber, and toasted marshmallow. It pairs really nicely with tropical, woodsy, sweet, or spicy perfumes—it’s very versatile.
3. Consistency and absorption: The oil absorbs nicely and has a light, runny consistency. Because it’s a dry oil, it isn’t too thick, nor does it leave a sticky feeling on the skin.
4. How my skin feels: I’ve used this oil 4 nights in a row, and every single morning I wake up, my skin feels so soft and smooth, with no residual stickiness or residue left behind.

Buy it you won’t be disappointed
Scent: Sandalwood
I love it already and I haven’t applied it directly to my full body after a shower as instructed but from what I did apply it’s whatever it says it is . It eats down ok, skin softness, moisturizing , the shimmer is just enough , the scent is soft and smells incredibly great. Smells like a fresh shower lol it’s not thick consistency at all and just the right amount of oiliness to add shine to the body. I can’t wait to use this product fully .
