Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS)

Intrusion Prevention Service (IPS) provides real-time protection from threats, including spyware, SQL injections, cross-site scripting and buffer overflows matching the signatures of the intrusion attack and help identify the intrusion attack

Application Control

It enables you to monitor and control the use of applications on your network. You select the applications by name, and choose to block or allow traffic for each operation or operation category. This way you can block risky, unauthorized and inappropriate
apps for security and productivity.

WebBlocker (URL/Content Filtering)

The WebBlocker gives you control of the websites that are available to the users as uncontrolled Internet browsing can increase the security risk and legal liabilities

SpamBlocker (ANTI-SPAM)

It uses a combination of rules, pattern matching, and sender reputation to accurately identify and block spam messages before they reach your email server.spamBlocker reviews the body of the email message to identify and header and block spam.
To determine whether the message is spam, spamBlocker scans graphical data included in the email message and attachments. It blocks unwanted emails and the viruses they may carry. It also protects against phishing attempts.

Gateway Antivirus (GAV)

Gateway Antivirus prevents known viruses, spyware, worms, trojans from infecting the endpoints. It continuously updates the signatures to identify and block threats in real time.

Reputation Enabled Defense (RED)

WatchGuard RED uses a cloud-based WatchGuard reputation server assigns a reputation score between 1 and 100 to every URL. Based on the reputation score RED determines whether the Firebox should allow the traffic, allow it or scan it locally with Gateway
AV. This increases performance, as Gateway AV does not need to scan URLs with a known good or bad reputation.

Network Discovery

Network Discovery enables the Firebox to discover devices on your internal networks and show them on a network map in Fireware Web UI. The Network Discovery map is organized by your Firebox networks and interfaces.

You can see following information for each device on your network:

• IP address
• Device name and host name
• MAC address
• Operating system and services
• Open network ports
• Mobile Security devices and mobile compliance status
