The Titman Edge stones are backed by a 5-year warranty when used with the Titman Edge Lapping fluid and by following the simple break-in procedure. After they're broken in, it's a simple matter of letting the stone do the work. The lapping fluid is available in 250ml or 500ml sizes. A little goes a long way, but I always make sure to have the 500ml size on hand so I don't run out.
