Born in 1949, Joe Egan already played along with his school friend Gerry Rafferty in various smaller British bands in the Sixties before they 1972 then succeeded with the creation of the folk-rock duo Stealers Wheel. With the surprise hit "Stuck in the Middle with You", written by Egan and Rafferty, they were able to place the song in the top ten of the American and British charts. Rafferty then left the band, leaving Egan the role of bandleader. But even before the next recordings Rafferty returned to the band, which meant that all other musicians got out except Egan. The second album "Ferguslie Park " therefore was recorded by Gerry Rafferty and Joe Egan as a duo with accompanying musicians. Two minor single hits were released, "Everyone's Agreed That Everything Will Turn Out Fine" and "Star". Thereafter, the partnership between Egan and Raffety did not longer seem to work. Before the release of the third album "Right or Wrong", sluggish sales and artistic differences led to the split of Stealers Wheel in 1975. The two songwriters went separate ways. As both were still bound to complicated contracts, for three years they could not publish further recordings. So in 1979 Joe Egan released his first solo album "Out Of Nowhere", a number of top-class studio musicians like Gallagher & Lyle, Henry Spinetti, Dave Markee, Phil Palmer and Alan Parker accompanied him during the recordings. The critics were enthusiastic, especially in Germany ("best folk-rock album of the year", "better than Raffertys debut album"). . As Gerry Rafferty solo had struggling with similar problems, it came quite quickly to a reunion of Stealers Wheel. But the train had left. Today Joe Egan is still active as a musician. Steler Sireena Records is proud to release the wonderful solo album "Out of Nowhere" back on record. In a limited edition of 1000 copies pressed on white vinyl.

Works as advertised with minor aiming quirk
Style: 1 to 1 IR Repeater
Setup was quick and straightforward. I plugged it in, placed the receiver, and it started relaying signals right away. It does exactly what it is supposed to do and successfully extends remote control range to my equipment without any complicated configuration.
The only issue I have noticed is that it can be a little directional. I sometimes have to angle my remote slightly from the left or right instead of pointing straight at the receiver for it to register consistently. It is not a dealbreaker, just something to keep in mind when deciding where to place it.
Overall, it performs its intended function well and is a solid option if you need an IR repeater, especially considering the price and simple setup.

So Much Fun! High Quality & Perfect Alexa Smart Integration.

I use these Govee RGBIC Light Bars every single day in my room, and they have completely upgraded the vibe of my workspace. If you want to add some serious personality to your setup, these are an absolute must.
The fit is perfect right behind my monitor, completely transforming the overall appearance of my desk area. I have them seamlessly connected to Alexa, so all I have to do is say, "Alexa, turn on my Govee lights," and they click right on. While you can use a remote control or the app, the voice activation makes them incredibly convenient.
It is just a lot of fun to play with the different settings. You can change the colors instantly to give the room whatever mood or feel you are in the mood for. The build quality feels solid, and after months of daily, continuous use, the durability is excellent with no flickering or dimming.
