"It was in winter 18/19 - I flew to Montreal to meet with Tim Kingsbury, Richard Reed Parry, Craig Silvey and Teddy Impakt at Le Studio Du Arcade Fire. It was a fine time with a dream team in a city I love. Winter in beautiful Quebec. Les semaines les plus froides de ma vie. I had a bunch of demos that were inspired by migration stories I had heard from friends or read in newspapers while on tour in Europe and North America. I remember being struck by the similarities of the stories I heard from both continents and how really only the names of the powerful and the powerless had changed - thinking, "Is this the future? Is this our future?"Some time went by, the stories wove together and I remember them now closer to characters in a dream of how people could treat each other than any kind of front-page news realism. I think music subconsciously - whether writing or listening - is a filter for me - helping to process all the bad news into something new to build from - some records to me are like self-fulfilling prophecies - visualizing change to wish something into being - those records inspired this one." - M. Wrong photo for letter B for bulldozer

I love the book but there is an error. The B is for Bulldozer however the picture is of a Front loader. 2 completely different machines that do different things and look different too.

Fun, engaging, educational book for kiddos to learn their ABC’s!

My son absolutely adores this book! We have to read it every night. It’s helping him learn his ABC’s and is fun for him because he loves all of the vehicles and pictures. Thank you for such a beautiful addition to our library at home, and for helping my son get ready for preschool!

First Rate
Format: Hardcover
My grandson (age 3) is just starting to recognize letters, and of course, he is all about planes, trains, and trucks. That's why I was glad to find this book! He really likes looking at each picture and telling me what it is. The pages are made with high quality, thick paper, so it should hold up well. The book says, "All illustrations for this book were hand-drawn in color pencil by Michael Kracht through inspiration from his children in heaven." And you can feel the love in every one.

The sweetest, and simplest way to familiarize toddlers with ABCs
Format: Hardcover
I think people need to get over that the title says boys and enjoy the book for what it really does. I bought this for a boy (uh oh, I said boy) I nanny, who was a year and a half when I bought it. First of all, he’s obsessed with airplanes (his sister is not) which was my first reason for purchasing. I keep the book out of sight because he will rip the pages, but when I take it out it becomes a special moment to sit and read this book together. We go through each page, and I ask a series of questions: “what do you see?” Sometimes he knows (I.e. airplane) and sometimes he doesn’t, but he learns the names of the pictures slowly but surely. I also ask “where is H?” “Where is I?” And he’ll point. There’s a 50/50 chance to get it right as each letter takes up one full page so I feel like this helps build his confidence. Lastly, he loves when I take his pointer finger and slowly sing through the list of ABCs on the last page. Then, we read the book at least two more times! His language and knowledge of the alphabet has improved so much with the help of this sweet book.
