In the tradition of Yogananda's, "Autobiography of a Yogi," this is the first half of Peter Mt. Shasta's adventures on the quest for a spiritual teacher and, ultimately, enlightenment. It is the Revised Edition of the first volume (prequel) of Adventures of a Western Mystic, a two volume set, the second part of which was previously published under the subtitle, "Apprentice to the Masters." This revised edition gives the fascinating personal story of his earliest memory prior to birth and traces his awakening in youth to the first moments of expanded consciousness. It is the poignant account of his days in New York City in the '70s, living on the Lower East Side, and his call to India after hearing Baba Ram Dass interviewed about his transformation from Harvard professor to follower of the guru, Neem Karoli Baba. In search of his own guru, Peter travels to India and meets, not only Neem Karoli Baba (Maharajji), but Anandamayi Ma, Sathya Sai Baba and many other saints, siddhas and illumined beings. Gradually, he begins to realize that the guru he is looking for is within himself, and returns to the West. He gives fascinating accounts of his experiences in America with Trungpa Rinpoche, Chagdud Rinpoche, Joseph Sunhawk and others. The book ends with him leaving driving across the Golden Gate Bridge, heading for a rendezvous in Muir Woods with the Master who offers him final liberation. For a description of this meeting and the adventures that follow with the Ascended Masters, read part two, "Adventures of a Western Mystic: Apprentice to the Masters."Binding Type: Paperback

Almost perfect!
Color: Green
I'm going to be traveling for over 30 hours next week. I've had my eye on this bag for a few months and decided that it would be perfect for my bag I keep under the seat in front of me. I take as little onboard as possible. I check everything. This holds my 13" MacBook Air easily along with my makeup bag, regular purse junk with room left for a pile of snacks. It did have a strong odor when I took it out of the box but I've had it about a week and it seems to have disapated. I wish the handles were a little longer so I could throw it over my shoulder, I'm not someone who will use the strap. Straps and handles are just weird to me. There are tons of pockets though! Definitely a good purchase!

Beautiful Large Purse
Color: Light Brown
5 STARS !! Love this purse. I have had expensive name brands and this I has been my favorite. Love the size, the hardware, the long strap, stong handles, the feet on the bottom the color is beautiful. Great quality so far 6 months. Even got sprinkled on in the rain dried no spots. The large is large so if you like large bags it is it. I have always wanted a I guess you would call it a medical bag. As you can tell from this I really love the bag

Great choice
Color: Light Brown
I probably lost a good 40 bags in a house fire and am just now able to begin to replace them. I made a good choice starting with Iswee! The quality and craftsmanship is top notch! Easy to get into and find items right away! The leather is soft and sturdy and the color is great! I would have rather the hardware be done in an antique finish rather than a shiny silver but it’s okay. I’m going to enjoy carrying this bag! Thank you

YOU MUST BUY!!
Color: Green, Color: Green
Hello,
This is the first ever review that I’ve ever written. I couldn’t wait for this bag to arrive, and it came today as scheduled.
It IS THE MOST - ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL - as soon as I opened the packaging I could smell the leather! - the “colour” lol is RICH! I am a GREEN everything person, and this green is STUNNING! The QUALITY is great and appears to be VERY DURABLE.
The inside is EXTREMELY roomy and deep, which is good for me because I’m lazy about zipping my purse up. BUT the zipper glides with ease.
It’s a medium weight purse, so be aware of what you’re putting in there lol
Value wise, it’s definitely worth the money and it looks MUCH MORE EXPENSIVE than it actually costs!
I took the strap through and made it a shoulder strap also.
I WILL definitely be buying the burgundy one next!
Thank You ISWEE

Great Tote Bag
Color: Navy Blue
This a really nice bag! I can't wait to go on my trip. It is just the right size, not too big, not too small. It holds a lot of things and I can reach in and see all of it. I like that it has the shoulder strap that you can either keep on or take off. The leather is so soft and looks beautiful. Seems to be really well made and I will have it for a long time and plan on using it every time we travel.
