Vinyl LP pressing. Dave Portner aka Avey Tare of Animal Collective, has returned, following up 2017's release of Eucalyptus with a gorgeous and layered new record titled Cows On Hourglass Pond. The 10-track collection was recorded between January - March 2018 by Portner at Laughing Gas Studio in Asheville, NC on a Tascam 48 half-inch reel-to-reel tape machine. The album was mixed by Adam McDaniel and Portner at Drop of Sun Studios in Asheville, NC. The album takes inspiration from the future and the past in equal measure, referencing a myriad of cultural touchstones and influences - Buddy Holly, robots, Waylon Jennings, Morricone soundtracks, and much more.

Measure what you buy.

I love the product made my job easy on this last pontoon I worked on but the pontoons only 20 ft long and I only pulled wires halfway and I got less than 10 ft left there was not 50 ft on that spool. But now that I've cut it used it and are using it a little hard to complain, but the use of the application for the wire is 100%, thank you very much for the product.

Great value, but not overly flexible.

I used this wire to run power from my car's battery to a ham radio in my trunk, and an inverter under my driver seat. This wire fit the bill perfectly. It is water, oil resistant, and tinned (to resist corrosion). One challenge I ran into was its stiffness. Despite having many fine strands, the wire doesn't flex well. You can bend it, but wants to spring back and doesn't hold its shape. This made running the wire under the hood through the firewall, and along the door moulding... a LOT of work. I scraped a lot of knuckle in the process. Overall, I'd still recommend using it for automotive projects. It is a high quality wire. Just know that it's hard to manipulate though a lot of twists and turns.
