Foxconn/Trios is a previously unreleased work originally recorded by d'Eon in 2012 during d'Eon's involvement with the Hippos in Tanks label. The first eight (of nine) tracks roll, stab, and skip through d'Eon's arsenal of sounds, presenting a more singular vision than d'Eon's previous releases. Their nearest contemporaries can be found in the studies of Mark Fell, post-Oversteps Autechre, late-period Oneohtrix Point Never, and the work of Lorenzo Senni. In d'Eon's words, the tracks freely and irregularly travel both forward and backward in MIDI-time. By putting together small arrangements using low sample-rate soundfonts in a tracker, and by writing short loops that are legible both forwards and backwards, the MIDI information can be traversed in any arbitrary direction at any arbitrary intervals and still be harmonically and contrapuntally sound. Ordinary rhythmic patterns are inherently legible regardless of the firing order of events because of a snare's inherent role as the up beat and a kick's as the down beat. If all notes in a phrase and all chords in a progression work equally well with their neighbors before them and their neighbor after, the direction of the clock is irrelevant. If those conditions are met, a 32-bar, two- three- or four-chord pattern with a single melody is easily made into a fully through-composed piece of music that could continue for hours without any pattern repetition at all. The many facets of the sound begin to unfold at the end, when the ninth and final track, Foxconn II, leaves the album's dominant technique behind and rewrites the material into an instrumental R&B track. Though d'Eon uses the same method throughout the first eight tracks, the simultaneous occurrence of complex harmonic progressions produces a plethora of moods and reveals d'Eon's ability to combine the radically novel and original with the familiar and more tangible. d'Eon cinematically takes elements from the past and, with an elegant violence, rapidly animates them into the future, shaping the path toward what's to come. This is the third release on Kuedo and Joe Shakespeare's Knives label. Mastered and cut by Matt Colton. Artwork by Tobias Madison.

Great and comfy
Color: White
This is genuinely such a good chair and super comfy, the assembly was a little confusing at first but it’s very simple once you get started. I’m 5’2 and it’s nice and big, you can sit however you want and although it is expensive I do think it’s worth it. You can fully recline down to sleep if you wanted as well. It’s nicely designed and sturdy. Definitely get it if you are thinking about it!!

LIFE-CHANGING. The only chair you'll ever want or need.
Color: Black
So... This chair has absolutely changed my life. I don't often leave reviews, but this is WORTH IT. I want one in every room in my home. Just as the other reviewer with the 'life-changing chair' title to their review: I've had 100% the same experience - especially as someone who sits 3,000 different ways w/ ADHD lol. So, in addition to agreeing with all those comments...
I'll just add a few more thoughts here to further convince you:
- I received the Cream/Teddy one as a Christmas gift and have literally have looked forward to sitting it in for work every. single. morning. for work.
- I *ALSO* purchased a second one in the black velvet one to gift to my partner and his experience has also been 'life-changing.' (The black velvet is definitely sleeker looking, almost a teeny slippery, but just beautiful fabric. Love it. A note here: the fabric came with a crease, which steamed out no problem.)
- I sit and edit websites and photo/video everyday, all day, for work, and I also spend a good chunk of my time gaming with my partner. (Now we are *both* very comfortable for those longer 5+ hour sessions.)
- Previously I had tried the viral criss-cross chair and while it was cute and great at first, it just didn't hold up and started causing numb spots on my lower back after ~2 hours. Not an all-day chair at all. This one has solved all back issues for me!
Size: definitely big & the back is quite a tall height but it makes you feel cozy, supported, *and* you can lean back, recline, adjust every little bit you like, have space for a velcro cat, sit criss-cross or 3,000 other ways as a ADHDr trying to sit all day, lol, etc. -- all things I was looking for in an upgrade. For reference, it fits someone 5'5" to 6"5" just as comfortably. I'd say it feels on the bigger side for someone under 6 foot, but personally, I love that. It's like a real adult chair - much needed if you sit for 6+ hours a day.
Leg rest: Easy to flip out, I love using this so you can sit cross cross AND lean back, or just as extra 'accommodate the cat' space.
Noise level: the arms clicking down/adjusting is loud, but I don't find myself adjusting them all that often. Especially when my cat claims this chair first, anticipating the start of our work day.
Comfort level: 100% and 2.5-3 months in, it's still going strong and I'm more obsessed each day.
*To the store: THANK YOU for making this chair, please never stop.
*To the person reading this review: BUY IT. Let this be the review to convince you - your cat will take over the chair and you'll have to fight over it, it's that comfy. I mean, they know best, do they not?

Beautiful sturdy, cozy chair, BUT…..
Color: White, Color: White
Updated review.
I was so excited to get this chair that I jumped the gun and wrote the review prior to spending more time seated.
I only have one issue, which is the back bottom of the seat cushion. That’s a big deal. It appears so thick, fluffy and inviting, however, when I sat in it for a couple of hours it completely went flat in the back feeling like I was sitting on a board. I’m 5’4” 180 lbs, which means my feet don’t touch the floor so adding a cushion will elevate me a little more. I’m OK with that but it’s going to ruin aesthetic of the chair which is which is not ok. I do love the idea of this chair. It’s design and the color. I wish the seat cushion had a zipper, which would eliminate my issue. I’d say if you’re someone who has to spend a lot of hours in this chair, you probably won’t like it. I do like the reclining back and the foot rest. It is comfortable to lay back but that doesn’t change the issue in the back bottom of the seat cushion.
I absolutely love this chair, I didn’t want to get up. It’s beautiful and cozy. Assembly was easy as I’ve assembled chairs before. I changed the wheels to a double roller blade easy on hard wood floors. I also scotch guarded the entire chair. This chair is sturdy and well made.

just get it and stop second guessing
Color: White, Color: White
I reallllly love this chair. I almost talked myself out of it because of some of the bad reviews here and there but i’m glad i listened to a majority of the good reviews, because this chair is perfect.
shipping: it was super fast. it came 5 days earlier than expected. I got it on a Monday when it said it’d be here on Friday
packaging: double boxed and bubble wrapped. Didn’t find any dings or scratches on anything. all parts were there including instructions
assembly: my boyfriend put it together in 40 minutes. We didn’t have any issues zipping up the back cover like other reviews said and he said it was easy instructions to follow, and easy to put together.
size and comfort: it’s bigger than the pictures let on! I’m 5’3 135lbs and feel like I’m sitting on a giant cloud. The comfort is 10/10. I just had a chair with basicslly zero butt cushion which i cannot have while working from home 8+ hrs a day in a chair. Comfort was the most important for me and I finally can’t feel the flat seat under me. I can’t express how comfy it is.
Functions: can move the arm rests up and down. adjust the back to tilt all the way back to a sleeping position or fully upright which i didn’t even realize was a function! The only thing with the armrests; if you’re wanting your pet on it (like advertised) when the arm rests is put down there is a big gap that isn’t comfortable for animals (as pictured) so I have to put a blanket or pillow there for my small dog to lay comfortably.
I’m obsessed with the fact I can sit cross legged, normally, laying down, sprawled up, or legs up. I have room to sit however I want, and the foot rests helps a ton with feeling even more comfortable.
Overall, I’d get this chair 10x over. Not only do I work from home and spend hours in a chair, but I spend additional time playing video games so a good quality chair is very important to me. This has began to help fix my posture and back and neck issues.
Get it!!!

If You Sit Weird Like Me… Just Buy This Chair
Color: Galaxy Black
I work from home and spend a lot of time sitting for hobbies like Legos, PC games, and crafts—so a comfortable chair is a must. I LOVE this chair so far.
I’ve always struggled to get comfortable in traditional office chairs, and the ability to move around is really important to me. With this one, I can easily cross my legs, use the footrest to stretch out with my knees bent, or just sit normally. I’m 5’4”, so my feet don’t quite touch the ground, but that doesn’t bother me since I’m constantly switching positions anyway.
I’ll probably add a small pillow for extra back support and maybe fold a blanket for a bit more seat cushioning. It’s comfortable overall, but after long periods of sitting, you might start to feel it.
The black sparkle version is MUCH cuter in person, and I’m so glad I went with it. A lot of reviews say, “don’t think about it, just get it”—and honestly, they’re right. I debated for a couple weeks before buying, and I have zero regrets.
Assembly was easier than I expected. I tend to get frustrated putting things together, but this was pretty painless. One tip: check inside the cushioned back piece for the extra headrest part—you’ll need it to attach to the hard back before inserting it into the cushion. Once I figured that out, the rest was simple.
The chair is a bit larger than a standard office chair and can feel a little bulky depending on your desk setup, but I actually like the extra space since I move around a lot while sitting.
It feels sturdy and well-made. It’s also slightly warmer than a mesh chair, which I personally love because I’m always cold.
I am just happy to find a chair that feels comfortable like a recliner and movable like an office chair.
