Although they were both seminal figures in the development of modern and cool jazz (and although both played together a lot at Birdland in the early fifties), Miles Davis and Milt Jackson only recorded together on a few occasions. As to be expected, their conjunct recordings produced splendid music. Their studio works originally appeared divided onto three different albums. While their 1955 session (included here) was issued in it's complete form on the LP Miles Davis All Star Sextet/Quintet, the results from the famous Miles/Milt/Monk encounter were divided onto two different albums, one titled Bags' Groove (containing only the two takes of the title track plus a quintet session with Sonny Rollins recorded on June 29, 1954) and Miles Davis and the Modern Jazz Giants (which had the rest of the music from that session plus a version of "Round Midnight" recorded at the same sessions as the music from the celebrated Cookin', Relaxin', Workin'... series with John Coltrane). The only other preserved encounter by Miles and Milt took place in Germany, during a tour that featured the members of the Modern Jazz Quartet (Milt included, of course) with Miles and a weak, sick Lester Young.

I have had for about 2 months and seems to be holding up well, so far, and is comfortable for most part. Only complaint is the arms do not lower a lot, so cannot go under the desk.

High quality and incredible customer service

This is an extremely well made chair at a very competitive price. The packaging, assembly instructions, as well as the way the hardware was packaged and labeled is probably the best I've seen. I'm particular about tools, and the included allen wrench was better than the normal "included tools" so much so that i actually used it rather than one of my own. The assembly was easy, and the chair itself looks and feels very high quality, and is very comfortable. Perhaps best of all was the level of customer service. I emailed on a weekend to activate the warranty and request the free cushion they offer. I got a personal response in less than a day and they offered upgraded wheels for free as well. This is a company worth doing business with.

Great Chair and Outstanding Customer Service

I desperately needed a new office chair. I ordered this chair with the mesh seat and it spike up my sciatica. I reached out to the company and Alice took great care to address the issue. She sent me a new seat with a foam cushion and it resolved the issue immediately. The chair is incredibly comfortable with the lumbar support, adjustability and foot support. She also sent me upgraded wheels as my chair is on a thin chair mat on hard wood floors. Alice was extremely responsive with possible options and very thorough with instructions on how to replace the seat. It is a high quality chair that I anticipate will last me quite some time. I highly recommend this company and will definitely order products from them again should the need arise. Thank you, Alice!!

Great value and great customer experience

I'm sure there are a lot of high quality chairs out there and this is one of them. For me, what sets this one apart is the customer experience from unboxing and assembly to customer care. The chair came in a surprisingly small box. To my surprise, the parts were wrapped in foam and then again in a high quality foil/foam packing material. Everything was well protected, densely packed, yet easy to unpack and locate the parts.
The assembly process was straight forward as you might expect, but the attention to detail is remarkable. For example, the screws have thread lock (a dab of the blue "goo" to keep them from coming loose). Another example is the Allen wrench they give you. It isn't a cheap L-shaped wrench. It's a T-bar with a good sized handle. The parts all have slotted screw holes to give some tolerance in lining up the screws and a little bit of adjustment room. The instructions even showed how to use the box as a bench of sorts. You can tell the designers really thought about the assembly process.
The chair came with a tag offering a free "upgraded foam seat protector cover" by sending them an email. Not only did they send one, the email response was from a human (I'm 99% positive) that asked how I liked the chair. I honestly responded that I like the arms to go down lower than this chair allows and said I might modify it. We exchanged a few messages about it and they ended up sending me some washers/spacers. It now fits my frame perfectly. Not only that, they offered to send me a different set of wheels that are more suitable for my flooring, which I took them up on. I didn't even ask!
In summary, I am extremely happy with this chair and the company I bought it from. It is a fantastic value.
