Survey From Non-Vertical Pole Positions
The R12i in this kit is Trimble's tilt-compensated survey rover — built on the ProPoint GNSS engine and the Trimble Inertial Platform (TIP). The IMU calculates the exact ground position even when the rod is tilted, meaning you can survey corners, building edges, under overhangs, and confined spaces without forcing the pole vertical. This dramatically speeds up topographic work and dimensions you couldn't reach with a traditional pole-vertical receiver.
The R12i is the current-generation survey rover — the same receiver shipping new at full Trimble retail today.
