Basketball, however, was once referred to as a Jewish sport. Shortly after the game was invented at the end of the nineteenth century, it spread throughout the country and became particularly popular among Jewish immigrant children in northeastern cities because it could easily be played in an urban setting. Many of basketball's early stars were Jewish, including Shikey Gotthoffer, Sonny Hertzberg, Nat Holman, Red Klotz, Dolph Schayes, Moe Spahn, and Max Zaslofsky.
In this oral history collection, Douglas Stark chronicles Jewish basketball throughout the twentieth century, focusing on 1900 to 1960. As told by the prominent voices of twenty people who played, coached, and refereed it, these conversations shed light on what it means to be a Jew and on how the game evolved from its humble origins to the sport enjoyed worldwide by billions of fans today. The game's development, changes in style, rise in popularity, and national emergence after World War II are narrated by men reliving their youth, when basketball was a game they played for the love of it. Great for keeping bank statements clean but random security delays are frustrating

I use the balance reload tool to manage my monthly budget and easily hit credit card sign-up bonuses. It keeps my bank statements totally clean by grouping dozens of tiny e-book and movie rental charges into one single transaction. Most of the time the whole process works flawlessly and the money shows up in my account within five minutes. It is honestly the easiest way to put a hard limit on my family's everyday online shopping.
You just need to watch out for a few annoying system quirks when you load larger amounts of money. Even though it usually works instantly the automated security filter sometimes flags big reloads and freezes the transaction for hours. This random delay is incredibly frustrating if you are trying to add cash fast to catch a lightning deal before it expires. You also have to remember that this balance is strictly non-refundable and cannot be used to buy other gift cards.
Overall this is still a great method for organizing online spending and maximizing your cash-back credit card rewards. It totally fixed how I track household purchases but you definitely have to tolerate the occasional processing delays. My best advice is to load your account a day or two before you actually need to buy a big-ticket item. It works perfectly as a budgeting tool as long as you know the rules and plan for the random security hold.

EASY TO MANAGE AND HIGH QUALITY

I love this pocket Hose. Bought a cheaper retractable hose when I saw the pocket Hose advertised because I thought it was little expensive. Well, it didn't last and it did not retract to smaller size like the pocket hose does, just not made as well. Love love love the light weight rather than the heavy plastic hose that crimps, twist, etc. I'm a smaller older person so dragging that around was a chore. So, when the other hose decided to leak in two more spots after one repair I didn't think twice about the price for the 75 foot that I wanted. So much invested in my yard, need tool to keep it watered. LOVE IT!!

A lightweight hose that performs like a heavyweight!
The Copper Head Expandable Garden Hose is my favorite hose to use when doing garden wastering chores. I am an avid gardener and need a sturdy hose that is portable. We have many gardens on our rural property, but no irrigation, so watering is essential in the summer droughts we’ve had lately. I like that the water drains out quickly and completely, which allows me to fill up containers until the hose is empty so we don’t waste the water. The outer cover is extremely durable, feels quite thick, so even if it catches on a branch, I don’t worry about the cover getting ruined. Also, the spray head and swivel connection make moving around while using the hose very easy. I can turn off the spray head with one finger and easily select another spray pattern as needed with the easy to use dial design. The hose does not tangle or kink, which also makes it easy to use. Even when the hose is filled with water, I am able to move around the gardens with ease. When I am done using the hose, I can put it in a reusable grocery bag to carry it in the garage and store it. I would not leave the hose full when done using it, nor leave it in the sun. When I am finished for the day, I drain it, put it in the bag, fold over the top, and leave it in the shade or put it in the garage so that it will not deteriorate. It’s my second year using it and it’s still like new. I love this hose! I recently bought two more 50 ft. ones!
