From this highly anticipated cinematic adventure, Skeletor joins the Real Elite Masterline. Leader of the army that invaded Eternia and commander of a host of distinctive followers, Skeletor has been recreated in striking detail. Utilizing the possibilities of 1/3 scale, the statue showcases intricate sculpting and paintwork while faithfully conveying the commanding presence and charisma that define the character. The blue body is covered in carefully sculpted muscle-fiber-like textures, inspired by the physique and performance of Jared Leto. The skull-like portrait with LED-illuminated eyes, the Havoc Staff, and the fabric cape featuring a polystone hood have all been crafted with close attention to their appearance in the film. Two interchangeable left arms—a pointing hand and an open hand—have also been designed with meticulous attention to gesture and angle, emphasizing Skeletor’s aggression and ambition. The custom base is inspired by Snake Mountain. Flowing magma and LED illumination glowing from the massive open serpent’s mouth create an atmosphere of looming menace. Brought to life through the realism of the Real Elite Masterline, Skeletor emerges from the latest film in stunning three-dimensional form. Display him alongside He-Man from the same series and recreate their epic confrontation. A must-have addition to any “Masters of the Universe” collection.

A gaze into our past for older LGBTQ persons.

So much like a lot of people I watched the Netflix show first, and then purchased all the graphic novels after. I will say the show is pretty true to the original story, however, I do truly love these graphic novels a bit more. As an older member of the LGBTQ it is beautiful to kind of take a trip back to when I was younger in school. I can relate to both Nick's internal struggles and Charlie's outward struggle dealing with other students so it's kind of a two-fer for me personally. This graphic novels tells a lovely story of what actual LGBTQ youth are going through, and for us older folks what we wish we could of went through. Alice Oseman did a beautiful job illustrating this story, because not only were you reading the interactions, you could see the interactions which made it more personal and intimate. I highly recommend this series for not only youth, but for older persons as well. I cannot wait to see more of the Nick and Charlie series if Alice decides to continue their tale.

A beautifully written and illustrated tale of kindness, courage and friendship (even if the friend is in your imagination). This is a great picture book for building self-esteem and for helping early learners to discover ways to overcome obstacles by showing how upbeat confidence boosting self-talk is the way to go. I adore this beautiful family and how the climb up the slide's stairs is so relatable-you just feel the endless up, up, up as you ascend, like climbing up the stairs of the high dive and looking down and just that whoosh of fear that vertakes you from the seemingly dizzying height. I love the kindness on all the adults' faces and the cute expressions from the child. The lion is magnificent. I love that it gives shape to a child’s imaginary friend and that this friend is a true safety net -which is really the child being their own safety net. The end pages are bright orange and sunny, using the cute lion face in the pattern and all the illustrations, which are predominantly blue and yellow/orange illustrations are the perfect backdrop for the tumble of dark curls on the child’s head which allow the size of the lion to appear gigantic, and yet, calm and sweet like a kitty cat. Very sweet book! I love its message of bravery, confidence building and how you can truly be your own best friend.
