Sardinians Mamuthones initially emerged from the Italian occult psychedelic movement alongside the likes of Father Murphy, Mai Mai Mai and their labelmates Lay Llamas. Yet now, with their Rocket Recordings debut album 'Fear On The Corner', the band find themselves undergoing a metamorphosis from mystical and ceremonial realms into a direct connection with the everyday, the personal and the political. This vibrant reinvention also sees Mamuthones transcending their roots in Italian prog and soundtrack work and shifting their modus operandi firmly in the direction of a distinctly New York-based headspace - a realm of mirrorballs and black-clad basements. As the band's Alessio Gastaldello tells it, this is a groove-based. Eclectic style that finds it's metier in the realm of two albums which are paid direct homage in the record's very title - the bleak and kinetic 'Fear Of Music' by Talking Heads and the iconoclastic, heat-haze repetition of Miles Davis' 'On The Corner'. "The songs deal with fear." he clarifies. "Fear of the present, of human situations, fear of the new political situation, but also fear of relationship breakdown, fear of fear itself" Yet this is principally an aural landscape - "it is a big dance party for very sad events" clarifies Alessio, on the disparity between the serious nature of this record's subject matter and it's distinctly hedonistic atmosphere. "We are a kind of Titanic orchestra playing and dancing while the ship goes down. Very Thin but NICE
This polo shirt is much thinner than expected. While the blue color is vibrant, it’s best worn with a layer underneath, such as a mock turtleneck. I recommend ordering a size up, as the viscose fabric tends to shrink more than cotton. For care, hand wash or place it in a mesh laundry bag and use a gentle cycle. Despite these considerations, the shirt is attractive and practical when properly cared for, and I may purchase another in a different color.

Comfortable and Durable Shirt for the Fall and Winter!
What You Need To Know:

I'm 6'3" with a long torso. Most of my height is from the waste up. For that reason, I usually only order XLT shirts. I need the extra length of the Tall shirts otherwise, the shirt is typically too short. The shirt was not offered in the XLT size so I decided to order the shirt in the XL size. This is one of the few XL sized shirts I've found that actually fits me! You'll see in the picture that it easily falls below my waist. In addition, I've washed and dried the shirt multiple times and it's held up well. I love the fact that the shirt is a pullover with a zipper instead of buttons. This shirt will definitely be in my rotation for those cool Fall days and all of Winter.

Truly a SLIM fit
This is DEFINITELY a slim fit. It is true to size but expect it to be fitted pretty tightly on your arms and chest. The material is some kind of stretchy woven knit but thin so good for wearing out and not sweating but because of the slim fit, the tighter arms, I would never risk a golf swing in this for fear of hulking out of the seams. The color is a very nice light blue, true to the pictures and the style is great for someone ok with showing off their body. Overall, a good fall shirt for an affordable price.
