The name Abaddon the Despoiler has become an eightfold curse within the Imperium, for the thousands of years of terror he has heaped upon the galaxy - a realm he once helped conquer in the name of the Emperor. Abaddon is feared by the High Lords of Terror, within the halls of the greatest xenos empires and even by the most powerful champions of his own Black Legion.

He is called the Arch-fiend, the Master of the Black Legion and the Warmaster of Chaos. It is Abaddon alone who has been able to wield all of the disparate Traitor Legions as well as countless renegades, and his dark dreams of conquest are far from sated.
