The Gunpla Gundam Astray Red Frame Model Set features the advanced MS joint internal frame, designed for Real Grade models.
The model includes a movable mechanism that mimics human muscle movement by expanding and contracting the internal frame and external armour. It also has finely divided colour parts to capture the exact shades of each body section without needing paint.
It recreates a metal-like shine that is hard to achieve with paint alone, using realistic decals. There are also various markings to capture the details.
The distinctive weapon of the Red Frame, the Gerbera Straight (Japan Sword), is silver-plated to highlight the blade's crest. This model also features a beam rifle, beam saber and shield.
