About the Bench Clamp — SE.LB0858-001

The Universal Bench Clamp is an indispensable device for any physics or science laboratory. Manufactured from alloy for durability, it attaches securely to bench edges up to 40mm thick and can hold rods up to 13mm in diameter — both vertically and horizontally.

It is particularly useful when paired with the SE.MF2600-001 pulley rod, instantly converting the bench into a pulley support without requiring a retort stand.

About the Pulley Rod — SE.MF2600-001

A 50mm diameter nylon pulley fixed to the end of an 8mm diameter, anodised aluminium rod (200mm long). The rod is straight in one plane, but offset edgeways so that the pulley groove aligns precisely with the rod axis — ensuring smooth, accurate string or cord routing.

Designed to be held by the Bench Clamp (SE.LB0858-001) or by a retort stand and boss head. See also SE.MF2600-020 for the pulley on bent rod variant.

I bought these in both small and medium size. The small bag fits the Kitsch solid hair soap perfectly. They also fit a bar of Dove soap. Some types of soap, like Zest, are a tighter fit bit still work. If you want more of a washcloth style with extra suds, use the medium bag. The medium bag works well with those large bars of soap, like Duke Cannon Big Brick of soap. I hand these off little hooks in my shower so the bag dry faster and so I appreciate the loop they have on the corner. The folding top works way better then a drawstring. I also love the exfoliating texture. Overall, these are well worth the price.
