The Campagnolo Super Record Wireless control lever is efficient and effective, thanks to the new shape of the control body that allows for a comfortable firm high grip. The brake lever has been redesigned to make it easier to reach in low grip, while still maintaining Campagnolo style and design. The position of the brake lever can also be adjusted so that it is perfectly within reach and suits cyclists’ needs, adapting to any kind of handlebar and any hand size. The absence of wires and cables makes it easy to install and the battery has an incredibly long life thanks to the very sophisticated firmware that manages all this component’s electronics. The shifting buttons are the perfect balance between force used and tactile feedback, allowing cyclists to feel when a gear shifts. They can also be customized using the MyCampy 3.0 app, associating them with the front and rear derailleur according to personal preference. The Super Record brake calipers ensure powerful braking that can be regulated in any situation thanks to their 22mm diameter phenolic resin pistons. Pad return has now been optimized to ensure there is no friction when the brake lever is released. A special metal plate, positioned between the pad and the caliper piston, cushions the vibrations during braking.
  • Super Record Wireless controls can be used for up to 2 years without replacing the battery
  • Controls can be turned off with a switch that is hidden but easy to reach inside the body of the controls
  • LED inside the body of the controls acts as a visual alarm to indicate that the battery needs charging and the charge level can be checked using the MyCampy3.0 app
  • Shifting buttons positioned on the brake lever to guarantee easy access for all cyclists, when pedaling with either a high or low grip
  • When the chain engages immediately, the front and rear derailleurs can be actioned with minimum effort and in any position on the handlebars for super quick shifting
  • Multi-Shifting feature instantly finds the right combination for an unexpected climb or sudden sprint thanks to the multiple actions of the controls
  • Caliper is fully compatible with flat-mount frames
  • 22mm phenolic resin pistons provide exceptional braking force and thermal isolation
  • Optimized piston return action rapidly returns pads to their position, ensuring an overall clearance between pad and disc of 0.4-0.8 mm, with no risk of accidental contact
  • Pad wear indicators help to easily see when replacement is needed
  • Simply and easy pad replacement due to the absence of phyical return springs
  • Rounded brake pads facilitates disc insertion and speeds up wheel changing
  • Optimal braking without vibrations thanks to the Anti-vibration plate

If you liked 1491, you'll like 1493
Format: Hardcover
I originally read the first edition of 1491, which I loved. So that's why I ordered 1493. At about the same time 1493 arrived, I found out there was a new, revised version of 1491, which my husband bought from another source. So I re-read it at the same time I read 1493 for the first time. The reason I mention this is that there are some similarities between the revised version of 1491 and the newer book, 1493 - actually some repeated material. That's ok, as the author is taking the premise of 1491 another step further. Essentially, 1491 focuses on what new studies show was really going on in the Western Hemisphere before Columbus' arrival, where native peoples were far more numerous and had more advanced cultures than Europeans previously thought possible. In 1493, Charles Mann shows not only how Columbus and Europeans changed the New World, but how the "Columbian exchange" wrought great changes in the other direction as well. And he pulls in the further exchanges with Asia, to show the trans-global linkages of the phenomenon. So, some of his exposition gets a little repetitious, but overall he's an engaging writer, and for those of us who love the history of cultural exchanges and first contact, these books are mandatory reading!

Truly worth every penny. DS2r?
Format: Hardcover
Truly incredible documentation of the thoughtful work of a handful of artists. I'm hoping that by supporting this book we may inch ourselves closer to a Dead Space 2 remake lead by Motive studio. This book is a must for fans or the game and horror in general. Well made, good quality images, lore drops, developer letters. Its fantastic!

Great Art Book
Format: Hardcover, Format: Hardcover
One of my all time favorite games, this was perfect. It IS an art book, so more into the visuals then descriptions or thoughts on designs, but that's about what I expected. Especially as it's more for the remake than original. But still worth every cent, great to see the details (especially things that are tough to see in-game) and small descriptions. Arrived quicky and in perfect condition, no complaints at all!
