I always wanted people to feel what I feel. The magic of music." Bap Kennedy... The music of much-loved Belfast singersongwriter Bap Kennedy is being celebrated with a new release. All profits from the release will be going to Belfast's Marie Curie Hospice where Bap passed away after a short and brave fight with cancer in November 2016. The 5-track E.P., which features original cover art by acclaimed County Antrim artist Kenny McKendry and poignant sleevenotes from respected Belfast music journalist Stuart Bailie, will be available on limited edition 10". The record includes songs from Bap's solo career as well as his years as frontman for Energy Orchard and is being released on the Farm Music label. The project is a collaboration between Brighton-based Belfast expat Brian Bell and Oxford/Sussex band The Dreaming Spires with multi-instrumentalist Joe Bennett (Copilgrim, Saint Etienne, Dreaming Spires) handling production duties. Bap's sister Marian Bunton began fundraising for the Marie Curie Hospice in Bap's memory at the beginning of 2017 by taking on the challenge of abstaining from alcohol for a year and proceeds from 'Raving for Bap' will be added to the £2,000 + Marian has already raised. The target is to raise a joint total of £5,600 by Bap's 56th birthday on June 17th. The band have created a cool 60s American West Coast sound and Bap would have loved it!" This will work but prep is key!
I have an older RV that the gelcoat has dulled and is oxidized, but otherwise in good shape. I have buffed and polished in the past only for it to last a short time. I was looking up different products to try and this one has such good reviews, I thought I would give it a try. I bought the kit with the Poliglow and the Poliprep, with the scrubber and the microfiber glove. I started with the poliprep and it did a great job of gettting the streaks and black marks off. You spend a lot of time scrubbing to your likeness because anything that is still on the gelcoat when you apply the poliglow, it will be locked in there. The Poliglow is like a clearcoat that goes over the gelcoat. You have to build up layers and here are some of the tips and tricks I figured out that really helped my finished RV look great. First, make sure the applicator stays damp, this keeps the poliglow more uniform across the glove. Also, stick it in a zip lock bag when not using, you do not want it to dry out while you are using it. I found out that applying this in direct sunlight in warm temps, is the best method. This allows the poliglow to dry really fast. The first 3 or 4 layers will look streaky and dull but this is ok and as you build up the layers, the shine will come back. I found if you do this when its cooler, the layers do not dry as quick and you will get some permanent streaking or running. I had to remove a section I did in the evening because I noticed this. When in direct sunlight, this gave me the best results with no streaking or running. It dries fast and you can keep working. Like it says, do not do big sections at a time, keep it to small what you can reach sections and build those up and move on. As far as how much to buy? I have a 40 ft toy hauler and I got to kits and I had just enough to finish the whole thing minus the nose cap. I have Durabak on the nose cap, so I dont need to worry about that. I ended up buying one more bottle of the poliglow to have for my maintenance coats. Overall, I am pleased with how my 10 year old RV looks and other than some of the decals show age, it looks new again. If I were to buy a new RV, I would put this on right away and preserve the whole RV including the decals. Its not too expensive and its a lot of work, especially the prep, but it does end up with great results.

Excellent shine
Excellent line of products. Looking at the picture, you can see what the camper looked like before the Poli Glow. To the left of the window is the after Poli Glow.
It takes some elbow grease (follow instructions well) but well worth it.

Camping enthusiast approved
One bottle covered my 20ft camping trailer 4 coats and with a little remaining for future touch ups. It definitely increases the gloss. I'm glad I didn't waste my time with wax. This is like an easy wipe on clear coat. I will report back in the future for longevity.
