Lars Finberg: a name synonymous with artisanal hand-crafted, locally brewed, and organically-farmed song lasers. Hilarious, fast, tour-tight and ballsy-the band has all these perks in pocket, and all that on borrowed gear! I've watched this band go through many variations over the years and in their own right all of them have been marvelous. This particular version of the line-up is constructed entirely of road-dogs. These guys don't fuck around-or maybe they only fuck around, who can tell anymore? They drink, they get bawdy, they shred, and when we asked Lars if the band would be into doing a small show in a basement in the Tenderloin in SF for a live LP, he asked 'What should we play?' and I replied, 'nothing but the hits'-and they did exactly that. If you love this band then this is a great live LP of them scorching the hits and talking trash. If you don't know this band (shame on you) then this is a good place to start." -John Dwyer

Aww! Lesbian Hallmark movie in a book

Yes, its a lesbian hallmark movie in a book. And, yes, being that it's a "sweet" romance, there's no love-making. Sad. Normally I would forego the sweet romances but when these two authors come together it's always a good book. So I gave it a go. I have to say that I really didn't miss the love-making; it was really that good of a story. I'm surprised to say that. The characters were great but Grinchy Celeste holds a special place in my heart. And the way she and Natalie bicker I got the biggest kick out of. Truly enjoyed the book. Keep 'em coming TB and Miranda!

It will make you smile
Format: Kindle
Just an all around pleasant read. I enjoyed the interplay between the two main characters and watching their relationship evolve. There was never a doubt about where the story was headed, and that's ok. Happy endings are a good thing!

Fun, joy filled, quick read

This story brings together people who need to evaluate where they want to go in life and they are surprised to find that they don’t need to go far to find fulfillment, a great place to live, and a great person as a partner. This is a sweet, quick read to bring hope and joy in the holiday season as the two protagonists end up helping a whole town while finding themselves.
