The 3 4" long pods are green when immature with the traditional zesty flavor with a mild spice and turn red as they mature when they become moderately spice and intensely sweet. Best if grown in full sun and rich, moist, acidic well drained soils. Pot A Peno has a spice range of 2,500 to 5,000 Scoville Heat Units. Type: Annual

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance.  Water Regularly with 1-2 inches of water per week.  Do not transplant deeper than previously grown.  Blight, mildew, leaf spot, and mosaic virus can be issues, especially if soil is too moist or there's not good air circulation.  Aphids, borers, beetles, and cutworms can be occasional issues.

LANDSCAPE USES:  Accents or Group Plantings, Borders, Wildlife Garden, Edible Garden, and Containers.

I still have to halve the dose as the full dose makes me groggy the next day. Where the Natrol gave me very vivid, but not unpleasant dreams, these don't make me dream as vividly. It does take a bit longer to get me to sleep, but once asleep, your asleep. Highly recommend, once I finish this bottle, I'd get the 2mg tr next time, as a lower dose works better for me.
