This groundbreaking antimicrobial wound treatment effectively targets antibiotic-resistant bacteria, including MRSA, along with fungi, viruses, and spores. It features an oxychlorine compound similar to that produced by the animal’s own neutrophils, ensuring it won’t damage healthy tissue. As it is pH neutral, it is designed to be non-stinging upon application.
Ingredients: Oxidized Water, Sodium Hypochlorite (NaOCl), Hypochlorous Acid (HOCl), and Sodium Chloride (NaCl).
Directions for use: Remove any excess hair from the area of the wound. Clip if needed. Adjust the spray nozzle accordingly. Generously apply Vetericyn VF HydroGel to the wound to clean, treat infections, and encourage healing. If a dressing is necessary, apply Vetericyn VF HydroGel generously to the dressing before placing it on the wound. Repeat this process as often as needed throughout the day until the wound is healed. No rinsing is required. The skin may appear slightly pink after application due to increased blood circulation to the wound site, which aids in healing.
Indications: Suitable for managing traumatic wounds, cuts, abrasions, skin irritations, post-surgical incisions, and burns. Safe for use around the eyes, mouth, and nose.
