But with the aid of her Matt and Sylvie; her brother Spencer; her life-saving horse Satan, now Red Velvet; her dear friend Mrs. Larson; and a run-in with the handsome Trayne Carpenter and his son Joss, Cye will learn how to heal—and find a new love in the process.

About the Author:
Doreen R. Todd grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa. Her and her husband love raising their kids in the country, farming, wildlife, and the many pets they have had. Several of the stories in this book are based on real incidents.
