The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre coated with an antibody specific to Rat MAOA. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat MAOA and Avidin Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate

The Rat MAOA (Monoamine Oxidase Type A) ELISA immunoassay kit uses the Sandwich-ELISA principle. The micro ELISA plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with an antibody specific to Rat MAOA. Standards or samples are added to the micro ELISA plate wells and combined with the specific antibody. Then a biotinylated detection antibody specific for Rat MAOA and Avidin-Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate are added successively to each micro plate well and incubated. Free components are washed away. The substrate solution is added to each well. Only those wells that contain Rat MAOA, biotinylated detection antibody and Avidin-HRP conjugate will appear blue in color. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated by the addition of stop solution and the color turns yellow. The optical density (OD) is measured spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 450 nm ± 2 nm. The OD value is proportional to the concentration of Rat MAOA. You can calculate the concentration of Rat MAOA in the samples by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.

Great Filter, Good Quality!

The beauty of this filter is that it comes with very clear instructions on what to do. Not a lot of manufacturers. Give clear instructions. I got this for a 2007 MDX. The packaging of the product itself was well done by Bosch. Installation was a breeze and as soon as I turned on the air conditioning post installation, I could tell the very clear difference. Plus, I also got an opportunity to look at the old filter which was filled with the usual culprits and debris. The initial airflow did have a mild smell of kerosene or like fuel. But this could also be because of the filter component itself needing to be vented out. I would recommend keeping the filter out for about 30 to 60 minutes before installation. Once installed, however, the improvement in air quality was very evident. The fit was very good as well. Highly recommend this. Very high quality.
