Warhammer 40,000 Orks: Big Mek

Part engineer, part warlord, and entirely covered in mechanical gubbins, the Big Mek is the technological genius of the Ork WAAAGH! — if ‘genius’ is the right word for someone who builds weapons that are as likely to explode as they are to fire. Fitted with a teleporting shokk-boosta harness and laden with kustom weaponry, this bionik brute is as dangerous to his enemies as he is to anyone standing nearby.

Highly Customisable Loadout

  • Shooty arm — choose between a kustom mega-blasta for high-strength energy blasts or a traktor blasta for anti-vehicle firepower
  • Krumpin’ arm — equip a power klaw for crushing melee attacks or a drilla for boring through armour plating
  • Two head options — build different Big Meks to tend to your teknologikal needs
  • Shokk-boosta harness — a teleporting device that gives the Big Mek exceptional battlefield mobility

On the Tabletop

  • A versatile HQ support character who repairs vehicles, buffs nearby Ork units, and threatens enemies with his kustom arsenal
  • Outstanding in Mek-heavy and vehicle-focused Ork army builds
  • Pairs perfectly with Killa Kans, Deff Dreads, Mek Gunz, and Morkanaut/Gorkanaut

Kit Contents

  • 32 multipart plastic components
  • Builds one Big Mek
  • Two weapon options per arm and two head options for full customisation
  • One Warhammer 50mm Round Base included

Perfect For

Ork players who want a characterful, highly customisable HQ engineer that supports vehicles and keeps the WAAAGH! rolling. The Big Mek’s extraordinary mechanical detail makes him a hugely rewarding painting project.

Miniature supplied unpainted and unassembled. Warhammer Plastic Glue and Warhammer paints sold separately.

Perfect for people who take carry on bags flying to beach vacation!
Style: Spray (2 Oz)
THE only spray on sunscreen, that is NOT a 200 SPF, thats less than 3.5 ounces so TSA doesnt confiscate it from bag en route to Cancun. I keep a few in the drawer and take the partially used one from last trip to finish off plus a new sealed one as backup. Smells great and sprays a fine lovely mist so you dont fry. LOVE this product. A GREAT purchase. We dont check bags and its hard to find ANY product in under 3.5 ounce packaging. Sure you can pour sunscreen into bottles that mfg says do not leak, but youll learn the hard way that they DO leak all over the inside of your suitcase. Skip that learning experience and buy COOLA.

Best Sunscreen and Reef Safe
Style: Spray (6 Oz)
I've been using this sunscreen for a couple of years now and this is the one! The lotion and the spray are both great, smell good and are reef friendly and organic. They are pricey but my skin appreciates the extra!

Worked well near the equator
Style: SPF 50
I bought this product because I was going to be in the field for a month, outside, every day, all day, in Tanzania at high altitude. A severe sunburn would be hard to treat in the remote area we were in, but also I am very careful about protecting my skin from aging. I had to have mineral based sunscreen because as a whitewater kayaker I know it’s the only truly water resistant kind and it was going to be sweaty. And since I knew I was going to be putting it on every day, and we didn’t have running water in the field (bucket showers only) I didn’t want it to feel gross. (I really wanted to try the spray but I didn’t want to put anything pressurized in my luggage.) And I had already discovered the Coola face sunscreen (30spf version) which had impressed me with how silky smooth and not greasy it is. Now this IS greasier because it is a higher SPF. BUT I think this product is as good as you’re going to get with the protection you’re getting. Like I said, I’m a white water tiger, so I have used a LOT of mineral sunscreens. This was hands down the most comfortable one I’ve used. And it was effective. I didn’t burn once—only time I did burn was when I forgot to put it on one day toward the end of the trip, when we were out for just a couple hours—and I got the first 2nd degree burn I’ve ever had in my life. That was what this stuff had protected me from, all day every day, the entire trip. I did tan a little but I think that was mostly from the few times I was not covered during short bouts or it was cloudy. For my face I used the Coola 50spf face product.
