Formed in Chicago in 2003 by guitarist Chuck French and bassist Neil Keener, Git Some has morphed into the lean and mean Denver-based quartet that it is today. French and Keener take the raw-edged guitar and bass tones and riffs for which Planes Mistaken for Stars was well known and render them spikier and more rhythmically intense. Vocalist Lucius Fairchild balances soulful wails and harsh screams; his approach works well with lyrics that avoid broad statements on politics/society in favor of inward looks at a complex, dark and often disturbing personal inner landscape. Drummer Andrew Lindstrom's solid but constantly shifting foundation delivers beats that underline the structure of each song, and intense fills that contribute a sense of spontaneity and surprise.

My last batch has changed - be aware!
I have used these pads for several years now. They are generally very good and do the trick. I don't even look at other products because they are so good.
However, in this last order, they no longer have a smooth side and a bumpy side. They always had the different texture which helped in using them. I agree they are a little small which I have gotten used to, but now with both sides being smooth, they are much harder to use to wipe. Plus you don't have the advantage of the texture. This is a dowgrade for sure.

Oil and fragrance free for sensitive skin
Oil free which is good for contact lens wearers. Relatively thick textured material so I can use just one pad for both eyes. Ok for sensitive skin with no fragrance. I've used these for years and the quality has remained consistent despite the reasonable price.

A 5-star product is now barely 2-stars. Shame!
I have used these makeup remover pads for years as I wear contacts and have sensitive skin around my eyes. However, the last 3-pack I ordered (Feb 2026), the pad is noticeably sub-par. They are much thinner, there is no quilted texture on one side, and they roll up immediately when you start to rub your eyes with them. In addition, I have to use 4-5 pads to get everything off vs. previously I could easily just use one on each eye. Obviously I will go through them much faster and every time I use them, I get frustrated by how bad the quality is now. Another product victim to shrinkflation and using cheaper materials, but charging the same amount or more than before.
Do they do the job removing the makeup - yes.
Do they do so without burning my eyes or leaving an oily residue - yes.
But knowing how great they used to be, I can only give the current product 2 stars.

Excellent product!
I have used this product for years but since retired much less. However when I actually needed it again I couldn't find it anywhere and when I did buying just one was pretty expensive. So I decided to wait until the price dropped...but it never happened. I never even thought of trying Amazon but I did and got an amazing deal of a 3 pack at a very reasonable price. The oil is rich, soothing and so emollient and cleans my brows and eye lashes perfectly! I keep one in my fridge which is especially soothing during warm summer days and helps to reduce under eye puffiness. Accolades to Amazon...you never let me down!

The perfect toy for dogs!
Style: The Duo
This is perfect when you have 2 dogs who love to play Fetch! They no longer have to chase after the same ball! The balls that come with it are very sturdy, and the launcher sends both balls far enough away so that both dogs get plenty of exercise. It’s definitely worth the price!
