Vibration Generator

Electromagnetic mechanical vibration — driven by signal generator input

Converts electrical oscillation from a signal generator into precise mechanical vibration. A coil within a cylindrical permanent magnet field drives a threaded armature shaft — ideal for Chladni's figure experiments, resonance demonstrations, and wave mechanics investigations. Fuse-protected, thermally stable, and transport-safe with a built-in shaft lock.

The Vibration Generator (SE.MS0265-01) is a precision electromagnetic transducer designed for physics demonstrations and laboratory investigations in mechanical waves and resonance. It converts an alternating electrical signal from an external signal generator into controlled mechanical oscillation, delivered through a threaded output shaft at the top of the unit.

The operating principle is straightforward: the input signal is fed to a coil wound within the field of a cylindrical permanent magnet. As current alternates in the coil, the resulting electromagnetic force drives the armature — and anything attached to its threaded tip — in synchronised oscillation at the input frequency. This makes the unit highly versatile for exploring standing waves, resonance modes, and nodal patterns.

Applications include:

Chladni Figures
Attach a metal or acrylic plate to the threaded shaft and scatter sand to reveal resonant nodal patterns at different frequencies.
String Resonance
Drive a tensioned string to produce standing waves and demonstrate harmonics, nodes, and antinodes.
Wave Mechanics
Investigate frequency, amplitude, and wavelength relationships in mechanical wave systems.

Construction highlights:

  • Coil and magnet assembly sealed against foreign particle ingress for reliable, long-term operation
  • Specially designed coil system allows sustained operation at maximum rated input without overheating
  • Strong base provides stable mounting during experiments; plastic enclosure is robust and lightweight
  • Threaded armature extension accommodates a wide range of attachments and accessories
  • Shaft locking collar prevents shaft movement during storage and transit — simply disengage before use
  • Integrated fuse protects internal circuitry from electrical overload
  • Pair of 4mm shielded input sockets ensures low-noise connection to signal generator output

A signal generator (sold separately) is required to operate this unit. Connect the signal generator output to the 4mm sockets, disengage the shaft lock, attach your experimental object to the threaded shaft, and adjust the signal generator frequency to explore resonance phenomena.

That ending 😫
Format: Kindle
I fell into a false sense of security and really thought this was gearing towards a happy ending. Then I realized there’s no work they don’t punish Andrew. I really liked Vale’s character. I don’t normally read books with pregnancy but going into this knowing she was pregnant made it more enjoyable for me. I loved Bishops devotion to her and her happiness. I also loved that Holt and Mercy couldn’t fight their attraction to her. I love scent matches so very much. I’m so curious to see how this duet will end up. And I need to pay more attention and notice that a book I’m starting is a duet to begin with lol

oh wow
Format: Kindle
I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.

Slightly repetitive but I did love some things
Format: Kindle
I love this type of story. And omegaverse is one of my all time favorite genres. But there are a few things that pulled me out of my enjoyment while I was reading. It was repetitive at times as well as struggled with telling not showing. So we didn’t always feel like we were experiencing things with the main character. There were also some plot holes but they may still be answered in part 2. Now this isn’t to be said I didn’t enjoy parts of the story. I loved the almost instant love between Mila and Oliver. And how he started changing around her.
