Each blade is made of HL torsion damask steel, a hand-forged, high-layer material created from a single strand using a unique torsion process.
This process step produces a fine yet coarse-looking twisted layer structure that enables a hardness of 63 HRC.
The handles are made of walnut, a dense wood with a gorgeous pattern which also ensures durability and a pleasant feel.
This is complemented by bronze handle clamps, which enable a beautiful construction: the blade flows seamlessly into the handle, optimizing hygiene and balance. The pewter bronze also has an antibacterial effect. The oval handle design is ideal for the pinch grip—a precision grip with the thumb and index finger directly in front of the ferrule—and thus offers ergonomic support during intensive use.
