MWC hybrid watches merge features from both automatic and quartz models, resulting in a hybrid ultra-low maintenance movement. This movement is powered by a battery that drives the coils and quartz oscillator, but the hands are mechanically actuated and controlled. Essentially, the movement is mechanical, powered by a battery and regulated by a crystal, minus the spring.
