Miraculously, these workaholics of rhythm, who conquered and claimed more than fifteen countries just for the sheer thrill of it during their last tour, found a break and the action of their troubled agenda. It seemed only logical to throw their road sharpened revue into the studio to commit to wax their finest album to date entitled Breaking The Rule. After more than two years on the road and 200 sweat soaked performances since the release of their second album Sometimes Too Much Is Not Enough (2013) (PENN 004CD, PENN 004LP), this third album certifies that the big combo from Barcelona can do whatever they please: either caress you or kick you in the stomach - or both. The steamroller rhythm section is one powerful structure pounding under searing guitars, roaring horns and all reigned over by the voice of Koko that claws at their hypnotic gyrations with wild abandon. This new Excitements bag, as expected, is a satisfier with high voltage rhythm and soul floor shakers and lease breakers-"Everything is Better Since You're Gone", "Fire", "Hold On Together"-ripping spear-hurling R & B - "Chicken Picking" "I'd Rather Feel The Pain", "Did I Let You Down", heartbreaking ballads and mid-tempos - "Breaking The Rule", and "Take It Back" and a pair of rhythmical postcards - a tribute to what once were the noisy streets of New Orleans ("Mojo Train") and restless nights in a Havana boarding house ("Four Loves"). And do not, do not fear, inside this explosive cocktail of sonic chaos, a strange sweet harmony prevails through all and each of the grooves of the record. And as always, all wrapped up, signed, sealed and delivered with the elegantly filthy production of Mike Mariconda.

Floating Shelves

I purchased a set of white floating shelves for my bedroom a couple months back, and I must say, they have definitely added a touch of modern elegance to the space. The installation process was surprisingly simple and straightforward, making it a breeze to set up the shelves exactly where I wanted them. The package came with all the necessary hardware, including sturdy brackets and screws, ensuring a hassle-free setup experience. I will say that the wall anchors included are not the best quality and I used a third party set.
The sleek and minimalistic design of these floating shelves instantly caught my eye, and I couldn't be happier with how they complement the overall decor of my room. The clean lines and the bright white finish pop with the walls, providing a chic and uncluttered display area for my decorative items, and cherished keepsakes. They truly elevate the aesthetic appeal of any room and create an illusion of more space, which is always a bonus.
However, one aspect that did disappoint me slightly was the visibility of the screws underneath the shelves. While the overall appearance is sleek and sophisticated, this minor flaw hinders the shelves from achieving a truly seamless "floating" effect. I understand that the screws are essential for stability and security, but I wish the manufacturer had found a way to conceal them better, perhaps with a cleverly designed cover or by providing white screw caps.
Despite this minor setback, I still appreciate the functionality and attractiveness of these floating shelves. They have undoubtedly decluttered my living space and allowed me to proudly showcase my favorite items. I have received compliments from friends and family on how the shelves enhance the ambiance of the room.
In conclusion, if you are seeking easy-to-install, stylish white floating shelves to add a contemporary touch to your home, these shelves are an excellent choice. Their seamless installation and sleek appearance make them a delightful addition to any room. Although the visible screws detract slightly from the overall aesthetic, the shelves' overall performance and elegance more than make up for it.
