The stiffer springs allowed the engine to turn more rpm, but eventually became too much for a timing chain to handle. At the time, gear drives were the only solution, but they bring with them their own set of problems. Gear drives transfer a tremendous amount of crankshaft harmonics to the valvetrain, not to mention taking incredible amounts of horsepower to drive.
As necessity is the birth of most components in high performance engines, the Jesel Camshaft Belt Drive was created to solve these problems.
Recognising the need for improvement, Dan Jesel did what he does best. Using internal cam belt assemblies as a blueprint, Dan engineered a system to externally adapt this technology to a small block Chevrolet. After sourcing a belt and gathering material, Dan went to work manufacturing the prototype pieces and in conjunction with a local engine builder successfully built and tested the drive on a NHRA Competition Eliminator engine. The results were more than impressive and the dyno numbers proved it.
To date, Jesel has engineered an arsenal of over 40 belt drive assemblies. So, whether you're on a six second pass down a quarter mile drag strip, racing in a 24 hour endurance race or just taking a trip down to the local car show, you can be assured that the components controlling your cam timing are of the highest standards and machined to exacting tolerances.

- Patented High Torq Drive reinforced belt operates dry and spins with less friction than timing chains or gear drives and also absorbs harmonics.;
- Cam timing adjustment is made externally providing the easiest and most accurate tuning available.;
- Teflon coated high vacuum cam and crank seals.;
- Crank Pulley is heat-treated steel and incorporates a High Torq Drive tooth configuration.;
- Cam timing is externally adjustable;
- Kit hardware is all Grade 8 Allen and Torx head design.;

Convenient and Cost-Effective Air Filter Set for Gasoline Engine

Why did you pick this product vs others?:
The set includes both the engine air filter and the cabin air filter, which I find extremely convenient because both usually need replacing around the same time—especially if you drive in dusty environments or have seasonal allergies.
Ease of installation:
I replaced both filters myself in under 20 minutes using just basic tools. No instructions are included, but a quick search online brought up several helpful videos tailored to my car model. Both filters fit perfectly without any force or trimming needed, which isn’t always the case with aftermarket brands.
Functionality:
From past experience, replacing the engine air filter regularly (every 12,000 to 15,000 miles as suggested in the owner’s manual) helps maintain better fuel efficiency and extends engine life by keeping debris out of the combustion chamber. After swapping in the new filter, I noticed the engine ran slightly smoother—especially on acceleration.
Smell:

Exactly what I needed
Size: CRV (2023-2025) 1.5L Gas
I'm not sure how much there is to say about an automotive cabin air filter. I double-checked the specs to make sure this was compatible with my car, ordered the filter, then installed it. It fit, it didn't have a weird smell, I haven't thought about it since. That's exactly what I want in an air filter. Five stars!

A perfect fit.

It's not often you get to say 'perfect' about almost anything, but this is one of them. The product was a terrific price, it came in a day, was packaged perfectly, was easily removed from clever packaging, it was simple and obvious how to install, and it fir perfectly, both front and back. easy install, cleans well

took less than 10 minutes for front and back replacement: a lot of that was spent on figuring out how to get rear wiper removed. perfect fit. by geometry, installing passenger front wiper was a little more tricky simply because of the reach issue [and I have long arms]. but that's not a problem with the wipers.
windows were covered with pollen. using the spray and wipe option, they cleared up beautifully in one pass.
note: OEM has a heavier bow with a joint in it to adapt to window curve. this wiper has a lighter, more flexible bow with no joints, but hugged the window perfectly. it may help that it's almost 90 F outside.
waiting to see how it does in colder weather and with snow, and to see durability.
