Panasonic X2000 is a small lightweight 4K 60p professional video camera. Offering the on-site mobility and portability demanded by professionals, it enables high-quality 4K 60p recording. Achieving high-spec optical performance with a wide-angle 25mm lens and 32x i.ZOOM (4K recording), Panasonic's exclusive high-precision AF provides high-speed, accurate focusing for both 4K and Full-HD shooting. X2000 is packed with professional functions, such as 3G SDI Output Two Manual Rings, an ND Filter, a Built-in LED Video Light, and 24-bit High Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recording. For video recording, 4:2:2 10bit Internal Recording and the new, high-efficiency HEVC codec are supported. The best of various recording formats can also be selected and built-in Wi-Fi supports HD Live Streaming.

Featuring Optical Performance for Precise Shooting
The integrated lens offers a remarkably powerful, optical 24x zoom that ranges from 25mm* wide angle to 600mm* tele. i.ZOOM achieves 32x at 4K resolution, and 48x at FHD. The 4-Drive Lens System drives the four lens groups independently, thus achieving the optical 24x zoom and compact body size.

With a LEICA Dicomar Lens that has cleared the stringent inspection criteria of Leica Camera AG in terms of lens resolution, contrast, etc., stunningly beautiful images are produced while suppressing flaring and ghosts. Two Manual Rings are provided, one for focusing and the other for zoom or iris operation. The Manual Rings are designed with different sizes so the appropriate ring can be controlled without error by touching it with the fingers. ND Filters can be selected from 1/4, 1/16, 1/64, and Clear, while glass is newly used as a countermeasure against scorching from sunlight condensation.

* 35mm camera equivalent.

High-speed, High-precision AF Including Face Detection AF/AE
Superior focusing speed, stability and tracking performance for both 4K and Full-HD is achieved thanks to Face Detection AF/AE together with the precise focus lens drive. Face Detection AF/AE provides precise focusing and sufficient exposure for subjects. In addition, subject tracking with color recognition can be activated by just touching the LCD panel enabling precise tracking.

5-Axis HYBRID O.I.S. Enables Stable Image Acquisition
For both UHD and FHD modes, in addition to O.I.S. (Optical Image Stabilization), Electronic Image Stabilization operates to detect and correct handshake in 5 axes, including rotational blurring. This provides strong correction under unstable conditions, such as low-angle and high-angle shooting. The Ball O.I.S. System reduces friction on the drive section, achieving delicate correction even for small-amplitude handshake. This produces beautiful images with suppressed handshake even at high, 24x optical zoom.

Compact Body Equipped with 4K/60p Thanks to a Heat-Dispersing Design
A heat-dispersing design including a newly developed thin fan enabled the industry's smallest and lightest camcorder with integrated lens capable of 4K 60p recording. By pulling in air from the rear panel of the camera and efficiently dispersing heat from the front panel, reliable, extended shooting is achieved.

High-Quality Recording with Versatile Modes
The Venus Engine, which contains technologies accumulated with LUMIX, is newly incorporated in these camcorders. This enabled 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording with maximum 29.97p in UHD, and maximum 59.94p in FHD.

When set for 10-bit recording, the camcorder delivers 4K 60p 4:2:2 10-bit HDMI output, enabling high image quality capture with an external recorder. New, highly efficient HEVC recording (LongGOP/10-bit 4:2:0/MOV) is also supported for recording 59.94p at a high bit rate of 200 Mbps.

Super Slow-motion Recording Expands Image Expression
In FHD mode, slow-motion recording at 120 fps (for 59.94 Hz)/100 fps (for 50 Hz) is possible. 10-bit recording is supported, and full-frame images with the image area uncropped are obtained even at high frame rates. Auto focus can also be used even during Super Slow-motion Recording.

Functions and Designs Supporting Pro Camera Work
A bright video light is built into the handle. The brightness can be adjusted from 30% to 100% by the dimmer dial for shooting in dim lighting. For shooting in even darker conditions, commercially available IR lights*1 are supported for IR (Infrared) Shooting. The 3.5-inch monitor has 2,760K-dots of resolution, making it approximately 2x brighter and having approximately 2x the number of the conventional monitor*2. It provides higher legibility even under bright sunlight. An electrostatic touch panel has also improved the operating ease when selecting menu items. Since the 1,555K-dot tiltable viewfinder and LCD output simultaneously, the image being recorded can also be confirmed in the LCD monitor while viewing it on the EVF, thus improving work efficiency. Also, to support fast, accurate manual focusing, Focus Assist functions are equipped, including Expand, Peaking and One-push AF. The included battery does not protrude when attached and enables approximately 4.5 hours of continual operation.

* Maximum file size that can be recorded over multiple SD cards is 96 GB. Recording will not stop even when the data size exceeds 96 GB.

48-kHz/24-bit High Resolution Linear PCM Audio Recording
+48V Phantom Power Supply/MIC/LINE Selectable XLR Audio Input with Manual Volume is equipped for each of 2 channels. Also supported is 16-bit AAC (MP4), or Dolby Audio system (AVCHD) high-quality 2-channel audio recording.

Versatile Network Functions Expand the User's Workflow
A Wi-Fi module is built-in, so there is no need for a separate wireless LAN module, and Wi-Fi connection is possible with only the camcorder. Using a tablet application HC ROP, wireless remote control, including camera settings and lens control, can be set. RTSP/RTP/RTMP/RTMPS-Compatible HD Streaming allows direct connection and streaming over Facebook, YouTube, etc., of concerts, sports events, and news flashes.  Other Network Features: 3G-SDI for connecting to an external recorder (HC-X2000), and compatibility with wired remote controls via the remote terminal.

Included Handle Unit VW-HU1
It is easily detached and equipped with a 2-channel XLR Audio Input, audio control, and LED light. Operation of the zoom lever attached to the Handle Unit maintains a constant zoom speed, which can be set in 7 steps from the menu.

You Don't Really Need This, But...
This combination coffee scale and timer works exactly as advertised. It measures weights up to 2000 grams with 1/10 gram accuracy. The scale has three operating modes: espresso, pour over and manual. In espresso mode, the scale will automatically tare after a cup is placed on it then automatically start the count up timer and weigh incoming espresso as it starts to pour. In pour over mode, it will automatically tare after your cup/dripper/filter is in place. Then it weighs out the coffee dose as you add it. After you tare again manually, the timer and scale will start as you pour hot water. This allows you to let the saturated coffee grounds off gas for the desired number of seconds before continuing the pour. Manual mode is just that. You control the tare function and start the timer yourself. Battery capacity is great so USB charging will be infrequently required. Accessories include a short USB-A to USB-C cord and a clip-on silicone heat shield to protect the scale from hot espresso. Coffee spills are easy to cleanup and don't seem to have any ill effects on the scale itself. One gripe though: the weighing platform is only about 10 cm square so anything larger than a small coffee cup will block part of the digital displays. After all, the scale needs to fit inside an espresso machine. It isn't a full size kitchen scale. But really, do you need this device? If you want to be ultra precise in your coffee measurements, you love gadgets, or you revel in the coffee making ritual, the answer is certainly YES!

Scale programming and stabilizing
It took me a little time to figure out the different programming modes but now I know how to get quickly to the program I need for the coffee I brew. The scale is very sensitive and it takes a second until the scale stabilizes. All in all, I like it.

Precise, with super focused controls.
Color me impressed. I wanted to upgrade from an old Oster brand scale. It was a workhorse, and I still use it, but I prefer this Maestri House scale for coffee and tea. I compared them side-by-side, and their measurements are near identical. I've abused my old one, so I would imagine the M H to be more reliably calibrated, although the differences in readings while set to Grams was .01, so, for me, inconsequential, and may well have been user error as I had no control to measure them against. Here's what I like and prefer about the Maestri House S1: I love that it is rechargeable with readily available USB-C cords. I can take it with me, and not have to worry about swapping batteries. I love the silicone band that protects the platform. It is easy to clean, and doesn't seem to interfere with measurements. The scale is very sensitive. I could add or remove a literal pinch of ground coffee and it would register on the scale. The digital readout is bright enough to easily see. The controls could not be simpler: tap once to Tare, twice to change the unit of measurement. You can set it to liquid or dry ingredients as well. I also love that I can switch between grams and ounces without having to remeasure. Most scales do that these days, but I appreciate it. The timer is simple and easy to control--a very nice inclusion. Also, since the buttons are VERY sensitive, I barely have to touch them, so the scale stays perfectly still, and they work with wet hands. This device is focused, designed to be especially effective for making coffee or tea. It is compact, which makes it the perfect size for cups, mugs, filter baskets, etc. I wouldn't use it for baking or other kitchen tasks. Ok, I WOULD try to use it for that--I just wouldn't recommend it. It's too small for bowls and trays, because it wasn't designed for those. It is PERFECT for brewing and drink mixology. Also, I prefer to keep scales like these designated to weights under 5 pounds--let the Oster handle the big stuff. Overall, I think it's a fantastic little scale. I have had no reliability issues. Will it hold up over time? I think so. Plus, it looks great in my coffee corner. Satin black is kind of my theme. Happy brewing!

Great tiny scale!
I love this scale, though I don’t use it in the way it was intended. It’s designed to assist in making optimal coffee drinks. I just needed a scale with accurate fractional ounces readings. I use it for weighing ingredients for baking, or even light postal packages. It seems accurate, and it very easy to use. I keep it in manual mode, but it also has espresso and pour over modes. It can display weights in ounces or grams, and it has a tare function. The buttons are touch sensitive, so you don’t have to press hard. There is a beep when you touch a button, but the sound can be turned off. I’m a little confused on the charging function. I don’t usually like rechargeable devices, because it makes them disposable, and also because it means they are dead when I want to use them. So I was pleased when it seemed to work while plugged into my fast wall charger. The I read the manual which said A) the scale cannot be used while charging, and B) never use a fast charging power supply. Maybe they’re just trying to protect their liability. I’ll try to be more obedient in the future. The manual also says not to place objects weighing more than 2000g on it, to avoid damaging it. I violated that rule as well and it still seems to be functional. Overall, this is a great, feature-packed little scale, and worthy of someone better than I, who will actually use it to its full potential without breaking the rules.
