If you saw a missional church, what would it look like? What patterns of behavior and practice would you find there? Building on the ground laid by the book Missional Church: A Vision for the Sending of the Church in North America (Darrell Guder et al. 1998), Treasure in Clay Jars centers on case studies of nine missional congregations from across North America that are diverse in their denominational affiliations, worship styles, political stances, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The book explores eight concrete "patterns" common to these churches. Although the patterns may be different in each setting, they can be recognized in any congregation seeking to participate in God's mission in the world. The team that authored this book believes that "missional" says something not so much about the activities of the church as its character: "The church does not exist for itself, but for participation in God's mission of reconciliation. . . . Mission is the character of the church in whatever context it exists." The congregations studied here are "clay jars," but each carries in its witness a remarkable treasure that points to God's power and purposes. Authors:Lois Y. Barrett

Not tough enough
Color: Red
Finding durable chew toys for my pup is a challenge. When I placed a medium dog biscuit inside this, it kept him busy for awhile. But then I noticed small pieces of the toy around the house and discovered that he had managed to shred it. I've since discarded it and continue to search for toys guaranteed to be safe for "aggressive chewers".

Loves it
Color: Red
He loves this thing. He was able to chew some pieces off, but otherwise it is very durable. He likes to bounce it around to get treats out of the middle and the holes on the sides is where additional treats can be placed. It washes up fairly easy . Perfect size for my 40 pound dog

Keeps dogs busy.
Color: Orange
The dogs love this ball. They are afraid when it vibrates but as soon as it jumps and moves around, they are on it. They will play with it for quite awhile. Charge lasts for a long time. Very durable. This dog can tear anything apart but it's still in one piece.

Good for smaller jawed dogs.
Color: Orange
This ball is so much fun for our 5 month old. He both chases it and lets it bounce in his mouth. This was after playing with it already for 10 minutes. The ball charges with a usb charger and lasts for a long time. I do take it away to keep the toy fresh and prevent him from just chewing on it. I will say the ball startles you a bit when it turns on in your hand. Happy with a different toy.
