New Vinyl Record - Genesis - In The Windy City Chicago Broadcast 1978 Volume One

In May 1977 Genesis released Spot the Pigeon, an EP featuring three tracks left off Wind & Wuthering. It peaked at No. 14 on the UK singles chart and was the final Genesis release prior to Steve Hackett’s departure. The name of Genesis next studio album, …And Then There Were Three expressed well the group’s dwindling line-up, now made up of just Phil Collins, Tony Banks and Mike Rutherford.

Genesis toured worldwide with their new live guitarist Daryl Stuermer. By October 1978 they were in the mid-west of the US, and on 13th of the month they performed a quite dazzling show at Chicago’s Uptown Theater. Featuring a number of cuts from the new record, plus many more from their extensive back catalogue, the extraordinary event was recorded for live FM Broadcast across the mid-western states and this superb recording is now available on this on this stunning vinyl!

Little Golden Books Are Wonderful
Format: Hardcover
These books have been, and continue to be, the best books ever written for children. They teach life lessons in such a genteel way and the artwork is wonderful. I associate these books with my wonderful childhood. My mom read them to me all the time. I was glad I could purchase them as gifts to give to my friend so she could read them to her grandchild!

For Little Animal Lovers
Format: Hardcover
Adorable. Sweet little illustrations about each creature. The Kiddo's favorite page is the giraffe, because even a baby giraffe is so tall he has to kind of smoosh down to fit on the page of a book! There is also a nice little story/nugget of information on each animal, so as they get older they still like to read the book because it is about behavior and they like to add more details! A classic Little Golden Book, always great value.

Brings back good memories
Format: Hardcover
this was my favorite book when I was young (born in 1957). It was read over and over to me by my great aunt whom I used to spend much time with and I credit it with forming my deep and abiding love for all animals. I purchased 3 copies to give to my grandchildren (ages 11 weeks to 16 months)for Christmas. I hope they enjoy it as much as I did.
