A Lenape Among the Quakers: The Life of Hannah FreemanOn July 28, 1797, an elderly Lenape woman stood before the newly appointed almsman of Pennsylvania's Chester County and delivered a brief account of her life. On July 28, 1797, an elderly Lenape woman stood before the newly appointed almsman of Pennsylvania's Chester County and delivered a brief account of her life. In a sad irony, Hannah Freeman was establishing her residency--a claim that paved the way for her removal to the poorhouse. Ultimately, however, it meant final removal from the ancestral land she had so tenaciously maintained. Thus was William Penn's "peaceable kingdom" preserved.

A Lenape among the Quakers reconstructs Freeman's history, from the days of her grandmothers before European settlement to the beginning of the nineteenth century. The story that emerges is one of persistence and resilience, as "Indian Hannah" negotiates life with the Quaker neighbors who employ her, entrust their children to her, seek out her healing skills, and, when she is weakened by sickness and age, care for her. Yet these are the same neighbors whose families then dispossess her own. Fascinating in its own right, Freeman's life is also remarkable as a unique account of a Native American woman in a colonial community during a time of dramatic transformation and upheaval. In particular, it expands our understanding of colonial history and the Native experience that history often renders silent.

Asurion worked as intended.
After three years, my monitor failed. Asurion paid to send it to a repair center. I didn't save the box the monitor came in, and paid $23 to have it packaged up. They kept me informed of the various steps, such as en route, arrived, testing, and repair started. They discovered it could not economically be repaired and refunded my purchase price. The entire process from me telling them it was broken until the refund took 5 days. I am well satisfied with the service.

Great value - functions well with fairly easy setup.
I found the setup to be fairly simple. It performs exactly as I hoped. I needed a printer, copier and scanner - it is a great value. I did have to do some research to complete the scanner setup - that could have been easier overall.

Office‑grade, solid, fast, and capable.
I didn’t just buy a different printer — I moved up a class. Compared to my Canon PIXMA: I feel about the Epson WF 4834 the way someone feels when they finally replace a flimsy folding chair with an actual piece of furniture. The difference isn’t subtle — it’s structural. Price is awesome. I’m getting my money’s worth and more. Solid machine. Super easy to install on my network. Wireless connection is great! I print from different rooms all the time. Print quality is outstanding, professional looking. Easy to use, period. So far, I’m not disappointed.

Great Value! Great Printer
THE ONLY reason I can't give it a five is because it is the only printer I have ever seen with two trays that you have to print one or the other. Aside from that, BEST Scanner App EVER! Easy!! Hardly ever jams and then only when I put too many in, rushing to finish. The quality is fantastic!
