This Kidde 120-Volt Hardwired Voice Warning Smoke Alarm with Wire-Free Interconnect and 10-Year Lithium Battery Backup features voice alert, wireless interconnectivity, and a sealed-in 10-Year Backup Battery. This alarm requires hardwire installation and includes a 10-year Battery Backup to provide protection even during power outages. The voice alarm announces "Fire" if a hazard is detected and indicates when the Smart Hush feature has been activated. This alarm interconnects with other Kidde hardwire interconnect alarms and features wire-free interconnectivity with other Kidde 10-Year Wire-Free Interconnect alarms. Quick solution to replace that OEM Plastic Mount in your BMW E90
Effective Upgrade: After installation, I have experienced no leaks, which is a significant improvement for my vehicle.
Quality Material: The aluminum construction feels durable and sturdy, offering a long-lasting solution compared to the original fitting.
Cons:
The installation process was a bit tricky. The holes didn't line up perfectly, making it a challenge to fit. While there was no need for drilling, finding the right angle to fit it required some patience and effort. Wider holes could have made the installation easier. I rate it 4 stars because of that.
Despite the challenging installation, the Aluminum Water Hose Fitting Upgrade is a worthwhile investment for anyone experiencing leaks. The improved performance and durability make it a recommended upgrade for BMW E90 owners.
