LP version. In 2005, Toshiya Kawasaki founded Mule Musiq in Tokyo out of a desire to introduce the world to the music of Kuniyuki Takahashi aka Koss, one of the most multi-layered contemporary musicians of Japan. In the time since, Kuniyuki has stayed consistent and continued to evolve in terms of mastery, musicality, and freedom of artistic. His love for music has never been caged in a singular style or genre. Under his own name, as Koss, or in collaborative works with musicians like Henrik Schwarz, Marcus Henriksson, and Sebastian Mullaert aka Minilogue, he explored many different musical languages, from house and techno to ambient, jazz and classical. As a listener he also loves a variety of styles, ranging from old 4AD and Factory Records releases to industrial bands like SPK and Test Dept, producers like Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois, and pianists like Bill Evans, Abdullah Ibrahim, and Lyle Mays. They have all left a hidden mark on his music without ever being copied. Traces of those three jazz piano masters can now be heard and felt in Silence, Kuniyuki's fifth solo album as Koss. It's title is an announcement, as the listener will not find any club groove, overwhelming bass power, or rhythmic dance attraction on it. Nevertheless, all of the tracks are very rhythmic and groove gently. The piano plays a key role even though most of the music was created electronically. It's quiet and calm melodies dive into smooth electronic spheres and field recordings or are embraced by low-key percussions and reduced string elements. As usual, Kuniyuki's music is not overcharged, in order to leave space between the notes - a technique that enlarges the silence and sharpens the ear for sounds that float between and above it. Everything was produced in-depth in his own private studio with computer software, a Roland System-1, a Jupiter-8, and the dynamic percussion synth Korg Wavedrum. Nothing that is audible is written, as Kuniyuki likes to improvise. Only later, after he has been totally absorbed by what his mind and soul performed, does he fine-tune the recordings. His initial plan was to produce a real acoustic-sounding album, but then the electronics joined softly and Kuniyuki intuitively found a simple balance between both sonic worlds. These pieces are deep, minimal, and offer much to explore. CD includes four exclusive tracks: "Voyage," "Endless Flight," "Urs," and "Ancient Train."

Held up for well for 5 months. Fit my son’s chubby feet like no other shoe.
My son has been wearing this shoe since he was 9 months old and was cruising furniture. I bought the 6-12 month size. He started walking at 10 months and is 14 months now. He’s still wearing this shoe and it has held up well. I have him barefoot in the house and mostly use it for when he’s in the back yard, at the gym childcare and when we are out and about. He wears shoes for several hours a day at least, though I bought the Robeez sandals at the start of summer and have been switching between the two pairs. My son has wide feet and doesn’t really fit in anything but soft sole shoes. His feet are about 5” long now and these shoes are getting too small. It’s almost time to size up! They’ve treated us well. Plus they are super cute and match every outfit. He giggles when I put them on.

Cute, different, and good quality
I had these for my kids when they were little. I am now buying them for my first grandchild. They appear to be the same good quality they were years ago. I highly recommend : )

Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps
Great shoes for the little one taking his/her first steps!! I actually ordered 2 pairs, one for my son in the 12-18 months (even tho he was 10 months old) and a 6-12 month for a friend. The 6-12 month fit my son perfect!! (my son was in a size 5) but I knew they would only last a few weeks so I kept the 12-18 month ones and he started wearing them. He seemed to like them, never tried taking them off and they were easier to walk in than socks but for some reason the top of the foot area is HUGE! They stayed on no problem but lots of wiggle room in the top... He is now running and wears shoes with a thicker sole for the rocks but we still love these for inside when it is too cold to go barefoot. I would say the 12-18 month fit like an average size 6.

Wide feet friendly
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Tan River Gem
My son has always had extra wide feet and these sandals fit him well. We're limited on what footwear we can buy him and I'm glad I can add these to the list. He hasn't had an issue with these almost causing blisters like other sandals (Teva) we purchased last year. These are lightweight and stylish. I find these perfect for the pool and beach because they dry fast. They're cute enough for daily wear also. I will continue sizing up in these until they no longer have his size.

Great for summer and water but back strap was too big
Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Tan River Gem, Size: 8 Toddler, Color: Tan River Gem
These sandals were okay for my toddler. The sizing was right and the material is great for getting wet. They’re easy to get on and off and they can go with any outfit. The biggest con was that the strap behind the heel is a little too big so that my son’s heel isn’t secured. Every opportunity he got to take them off he would - in the car, on the lawn, at the beach etc. You can tell they weren’t his favorite sandal to wear and were slightly uncomfortable for him. The two Velcro straps on top were great and easy to adjust to his foot. Overall, they get the job done but I probably wouldn’t rebuy them.
