1986 S Eagle S$1 PF69 Ultra Cameo Signed John Mercanti

The year 1986 will be remembered in the history of the United States Mint as the year the American Eagle program was launched. In 1986, the US Mint introduced the American Gold Eagle and American Silver Eagle as the nations official bullion coins. In this first production year, the Silver Eagle enjoyed immense popularity that would lead to high demand the following year, as well. Right now the 1986 American Silver Eagle coin is available for purchase from Champion Numismatics

  • 1ST EVER AMERICAN SILVER EAGLE COIN FROM THE UNITED STATES MINT!
  • Contains 1 oz of .999 pure silver.
  • Bears a face value of $1 (USD) backed by the federal government.
  • Features Walking Liberty on the obverse.
  • Includes the heraldic eagle of the US on the reverse.
  • S mint marks on the proof specimens from the San Francisco Mint.

For the first release of the American Silver Eagle coin, the United States Mint turned to the San Francisco Mint to produce both the bullion and proof versions of the coin. These original 1986 American Silver Eagle coins were struck at the San Francisco Mint, both versions, and would continue as such until 1993 when proof coins shifted to the Philadelphia Mint and the bullion coins followed in 1999.

On the obverse is Adolph A. Weinmans Walking Liberty design from 1916, which is accompanied on the reverse by the heraldic eagle of the United States from then-Chief Engraver of the United States Mint, John Mercanti.

John M. Mercanti (born April 27, 1943) is an American sculptor and engraver. He was the twelfth Chief Engraver of the United States Mint until his retirement in late 2010.

My Samoyed loved this!
Size: Medium
My dog’s favorite thing. This is his 4th toy and he loves it. The quality is great and it lasts very long. Definitely worth every penny you spend. It keeps my samoyed engaged every morning and every night. There is no choke hazard, so all dogs can use it

Long lasting
Size: Medium
My dogs love these and they last pretty long. I take them away when they get very small so I think they’re pretty safe.

Meant for bigger dogs than mine
Size: Small
I bought this for my 10 month old pup who’s a VERY aggressive chewer. I’m going to say this is made for a large, older (than mine) dog. She tried to chew a couple times but eventually just walked away from it when I offered it to her and she had only made a few scratches in it. If you have that bigger dog that’s an aggressive chewer, it would be a good value for your money and will keep the engagement high for a long time with its heavy duty quality.

Finally… a dog chew that doesn’t become a homemade prison shank
Size: Medium
My dog has a real talent: turning every “tough chew” into a sharp, weaponized shard that could star in an episode of Locked Up: Canine Edition. But THIS chew? Absolute game changer. For the first time ever, I can relax—no splinters, no pointy edges, no fear he’s secretly crafting a shiv under the couch. Just happy, safe chewing that actually lasts longer than five minutes. It’s durable, it’s safe, it keeps him busy, and I no longer feel like I’m living with a furry little inmate planning an escape. Highly recommend if your dog chews like he’s got nothing but time.

Would buy again
Size: Small
Would have given 5 stars, but my dog was able to chew this down pretty quickly, so not the most durable. I do like that this is made with better material than other dog chews, so I would buy again.
