Located right in the center of Spain, in the Gredos mountains high above Madrid, the Rico Nuevo estate was established to keep a 5-generations old family winemaking tradition alive. Since their first cuvées in 2018, Rico Nuevo's wines have received many praises in wine publications and deservingly so.

Rico Nuevo Garnacha might be their 'entry-level' wine but this level is already quite high. It features the distinctive traits of the estate's wines : a good and clear structure, the typical berry-flavors and spiciness of Grenache are there but kept well in check by a solid mineral (yes, granitic one would even be tempted to say) frame, a liveliness and certain lightness to it that lingers pleasantly thereafter. We can only encourage you to give this wine a try and find the perfect companion to your tapas evenings (all kinds of meat, from cold cuts to red meat will also work well with this wine).
