The back spindles are very nicely turned and the front stretchers are pleasingly curvaceous. Very nice grain and patina, no splits or loose joints, etc., and the struts are thick and strong. Very nice grain and patina, no splits or loose joints, etc., and the struts are thick and strong.
The (what I assume is) original rush seating is in very good order too.
One of the chairs has lost the top circular button thing from one of its back supports (see photo), apart from that the seats are in excellent order with just minor wear commensurate with age.
