Six Questions Your FranNet Franchise Financial Model Must Answer

We built this franchise unit financial model using our own research to provide a realistic roadmap for your consultancy hub. Key assumptions like the $590,000 year-one revenue target and the 10% royalty structure are pre-populated and fully editable to match your specific territory. This tool helps you move beyond the franchise disclosure document analysis to see the actual cash flow potential of the business.

When does the unitreach profitability?

The unit reaches profitability in July 2026, just seven months after launching. This is driven by a strong year-one EBITDA of $298,000, which accounts for your 10% royalty fees and the $17,450 monthly fixed cost base before commissions scale.

Improve Profitability

  • Scale placement commissions to $325k
  • Optimize BDR productivity early
  • Control software license leakage
[dynamic_pic9]

What is the total capitalrequirement and allocation?

You will need $106,500 for the initial build-out and fees, plus significant working capital to reach the $1,120,000 minimum cash point. This budget covers everything from the $25,000 franchise fee to $15,000 in computer equipment and $25,000 for office improvements.

Major Capital Uses

  • Franchise Fee: $25,000
  • Leasehold Improvements: $25,000
  • Computer and Laptops: $15,000
  • Furniture and Fixtures: $12,000
[dynamic_pic10]

What are the expectedinvestor returns?

Investors can expect an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 16.01% and a Return on Equity (ROE) of 2.47. While the unit generates strong EBITDA, the total payback period extends after year five due to the high initial cash buffer required for this specific consultancy model.

Investment Metrics

  • IRR: 16.01%
  • Payback: 5+ Years
  • Year 5 EBITDA: $923,000
[dynamic_pic11]

At what level does theunit break even?

The monthly break-even point is reached in month seven, provided you hit your initial placement commission targets. The biggest driver for break-even is the $5,500 monthly rent and the $260,000 annual payroll for your initial five-person team.

Break-Even Levers

  • Increase seminar revenue early
  • Lower initial marketing spend
  • Negotiate tiered rent steps
[dynamic_pic12]

How much cash runwayis needed during ramp-up?

The model shows a minimum cash requirement of $1,120,000 in June 2026, which is your lowest point. You need a substantial runway to cover the gap between your January startup and the July breakeven date when commissions start flowing.

Protect Cash Flow

  • Phase junior consultant hiring
  • Delay office branding spend
  • Use standard office furniture
[dynamic_pic13]

How do different scenariosimpact the financial results?

In a high-growth scenario, year-five EBITDA can reach $923,000 as revenue scales to $1.68 million. Low scenarios defintely pressure the 16.01% IRR if placement commissions lag by even 10%, as fixed costs like the $75,000 Lead Consultant salary remain constant.

Hit the High Case

  • Maximize referral fee pipelines
  • Increase seminar ticket volume
  • Improve BDR conversion rates

HEAVEY Duty!
Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue
Almost not destructible! My dogs chew through 99% of the toys we purchase, but never this one! The medium size is good for our Doberman with jaws of steel!

Great chew toy to keep around the house
Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue, Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue
This came highly recommended by the behavioural team at the animal shelter and it hasn't disappointed. It's interesting reading the reviews, because our power-chewer pit-mix who can get a chunk off a split antler in a matter of minutes, hasn't ever been able to get a bite out of this bone! This is a great play toy for her, because it's soft enough that we can throw it for her to fetch in the house without worrying about breaking/denting something and are able to pull it out of her mouth fairly easily once she brings it back (still hasn't learned "drop it!"). The bone isn't flavored, so she'll rarely go to it on her own to chew on, but we keep it near the couch so if she ever gets bitey, we have it close at hand to offer to her as a chewer. It's also entertaining to tuck it into her collar and have her figure out how to remove it to play with it (see photo for this game and size compared to 50lb mutt).

Best bouncy bone!
Color: Orange/Large, Size: Orange, Color: Orange/Large, Size: Orange
My pups love these bones! They are soft and rubbery, but very durable. Had them for a little over 6 months and it has survived my extreme chewers and many tug of war games, and only has a few puncture marks! They bounce on my concrete floors and my pup loves to play fetch with this. Great purchase

Excellent for aggressive chewers
Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue
First I would like to say I think Jolly Pets are the best line of dog toys out there if you have an aggressive chewer. Their products have amazed me! And I am not being paid for this review. I have a 155 lb mastiff that is an excellent behaved boy but loves to destroy his toys. I had this bone in large and it held up excellent for about 4-5 months. I ordered it again in medium size by mistake and after 2 weeks it already has pieces missing...my fault. My only complaint is the medium size in blue smells like vanilla perfume. I can't wash it off. Although my handsome boy doesn't seem to mind. I just reordered in large. Also ordered a few other Jolly Pet toys as I am amazed at how they hold up. The "soccer ball" is my dogs favorite. It reinflates itself again and again no matter how much chewing or wear and tear its given. It's just magic!

This company makes great toys for pitts!!
Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue, Color: Blue/Medium, Size: Blue
Our pitt LOVES this toy. The rubber is reeeaally tough. It’s well designed because it’s a slippery surface. You can tell from the video there’s a lot of squeaking from him trying to get a good grip. He found a pretty good spot to hook his upper teeth into the crevasse, but his bottom teeth kept slipping. As a side note, I wouldn’t leave any toy home alone with him that’s about 3 inches or smaller because dogs can choke on it, but that doesn’t make this any toy or company any less amazing. For toys I would leave home with a power chewer, take a look at that 4inch red ball made by this same company. He hasn’t made a dent in that thing and you can put treats in it. :)
